~She remembers~

His face paled at my question but he quickly masked it. "Where did you even hear this name i dont know anyone named vanya". He said with a straight face.

" But yash when the car crashed i saw a girl named vanya and i was dead in a car crash how is this-" He clenched his jaw cutting me in middle. "It was nothing you are just overthinking due to the accident you should rest, i will ask the doc to give you medicines".

Yash said before getting up and kissing my forhead. He turned and left the room. I frowned at his actions. Yash never talked to me like this before what happened.. And who is this vanya.. This was not a dream. I thought in my mind.

I lied back down closing my eyes. I was going to drift off to sleep when i heard the doctors outside talking about something.

'Make sure you inject the medicines and prescribe her the pills. Its important otherwise our years of hardwork will go in vain.. She will start remembering.'

My breath hitched.'what are they talking about? What will i remember?' My mind raced just then i heard the click of the door. I closed my eyes pretending to be asleep. I felt them injecting something to the cannula attached in my hand.

After sometime they left. One thing i realised was i will forget it all soon. My hand shook as i reached for my phone. I opened the notes app and quickly typed in whatever happened. Soon i felt my vision get blurry and then it all went dark.

In evening

When i woke up i wasnt in hospital. I was at home. Ayra, ishan, and vihan were sitting there reading some books. When i woke up they quickly ran down to tell everyone i was up.

Ma and chachi came up to check on me and fed me fruits too. Papa and chachu was out for some meeting and the kids came home some hours ago. I was discharged after i drifted off to sleep and yash brought me home.

I cried and apologised to ma for runing her anniversary. She smiled and scolded me because it wasnt my fault so i shouldnt apologise. After some time they all left the room asking me to rest.

I wasn't feeling sleepy so I decided to scroll for a while when I unlocked my phone a notification popped up on my screen with a reminder to open notes I got confused at first but then eventually opened notes app.

There was something that had my heart beating fast like I ran a marathon cold sweat broke throughout my body I took deep breaths to calm myself down.

My yash would never do something to hurt me right? He loves me I am his wife why would he hide something from me I said convincing myself to hold myself and be strong.

I have this gut feeling that everyone knows about this whole medicine and pills fiasco that's when every memory hit me like a truck. Mom always asking me to take meds aastha always asking me to take meds what the hell are this medicines for when I was totally alright now?
