Narrator's POV:

MEANWHILE, while Dia was busy taking her shower and changing clothes in the bathroom, Dua and Issa couldn't stop laughing and talking about her.

"Not gonna lie man, she's fucking sexy and such a cutie." Issa said looking at the direction where Dua was standing. "But you sure she's not a minor? Babygirl looks so young." Issa states.

"No she's not." Dua said almost in a defensive tone."She's literally almost a twenty year old woman now so I'm safe." Dua clarified. "Aight, I just don't want my friend to catch a case for some random girl she just met." Issa says.

"I won't." Dua reassured her looking at the bathroom door direction where Dia is taking her bath. She and Issa can clearly hear the bathroom water running indicating Dia taking a bath. Dua's freaky and wild thoughts were all over the place.

"You're nasty, you know that right?" Issa said laughing averting Dua's attention to her and shaking her off of whatever dirty thoughts she was having about the younger girl.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Dua knew exactly what Issa was talking about, but she chose to play oblivious so that Issa wouldn't make fun of her. "You love her?" Issa asked very seriously.

"Love who?" Dua asked taken aback. Obviously not expecting that question from Issa of all people. Issa is one of her closest friends. They've been friends since highschool, so Issa was supposed to know that the Dua Lipa do not do love.

"I don't do love babe. Thought you already knew that!" Dua said slightly annoyed. "I know. But you've never been so hooked up on anyone like you are with her-" Issa pauses to scan Dua's face to see if there's any sort of emotion there, but there was none evident.

"It's like babygirl is changing you slowly but gradually." Issa winks at her but Dua wasn't having it. She was pissed at this point. "You know I really think you should shut the fuck up." Dua angrily shut Issa up. Dua wasn't a fan of all that lovey dovey shit. She believed love was lame and way too overrated, and that only losers falls in love.

But Issa was so used to Dua's anger issues that she didn't even flinch. She just laughed it off. "You're talking as if this girl is something special or extraordinary, which is not the case. She's nothing like that to me at all." Dua explained.

"She's just one of the many girls i feel attracted to. And you know me, if i see something i like, i must have it. It's just that with her it's somehow different. But honestly though, she's nothing but a sexy distraction and a good time. That's it, nothing more and nothing less."

Issa knew her friend very well and she knew Dua was kinda into the younger girl but she seems to be in denial with herself and is refusing to admit it. "Okay if you say so." Issa replied with a sigh.

Dua knew that Issa was not buying her story so she continued to elaborate furthermore. "No seriously, she's nothing special trust me. She's just different from all the girls I've been with you know? The girl is just so naive and innocent, and oh that shit turns me the fuck on. You know me, I love the submissive and obedient ones." She winks.

"Just don't hurt her D, she seems like a nice girl. But too sensitive though." Issa let out a small laugh remembering the weird encounter she had with the younger girl a couple minutes ago, the thought of the younger girl probably thinking that her and Dua are together makes it ten times funnier.

Sure, her and Dua has done some foolish things together when they were younger, but it was nothing sexual and nothing over the top. And just as Dua was about to answer Issa, the door to the small bathroom opened revealing Dia coming out.

The older girls couldn't stop gawking at her. They both stood there watching her every move and admiring how beautiful Dia was looking in that dress. It was your typical plain, flowery, and simple knee length spaghetti strap dress that any other average girl could wear.

But the way Dia pulled it off, she made it look like the dress was only made for her and nobody else. Her skin was literally glowing, and her dress perfectly hugged her every curve. She looked so pretty. She noticed how the two girls were looking at her, and all of a sudden she felt uncomfortable and started having second thoughts.

I knew this dress was ugly. How did i even let Alia persuade me into wearing this? And so, what if it's my birthday tomorrow huh? I'm okay with my hoodies and pants. She thought. Alia made her wear that dress because it's her birthday tomorrow and she told her that even if she didn't want to celebrate, she should at least look good to welcome her new age.

But with the way Dua and her friend were looking at her, she immediately thought the dress was ugly. But she can't remove it now or she might look like a clown in the eyes of the older girls. So she just passed between them and headed to the part of her room to get her book and phone and then leave the two lovebirds to whatever they're doing.

She took her phone and history book and was about to leave the room when she heard "Where you going?" Dua asked walking towards her. Issa just stood there watching the scenes unfold. Issa knowing how messed up Dua is, she feared Dua might end up hurting the younger girl.

"None of your business." Dia spat back. She was already pissed at Dua for bringing her girlfriend over in their room, and Dua asking her where she was going added to her angry state.

Dua wasn't having it so she walked fast behind the younger girl and grabbed her arm, making her stop dead in her tracks and preventing her from opening the door to leave. Dia tried taking away her arm from Dua's grip but she failed miserably.

Issa realised the tension between the roomates and realised that this was her queue to leave the two girls alone to settle whatever differences they were having.

So she cleared her throat to get the attention of both the girls, "Umm... D, I think I should leave now, it's getting late." She stood up to leave, "I'll text you." She winked at Dua and Dia couldn't help but roll her eyes out of jealousy.

"Goodbye sugar boo," Issa smiled over at Dia but Dia turned her head the other side not making eye contact with Issa. She heard their apartment door closing shut, indicating Issa's exit. Now its only her and Dua in the room.
