Alison shakenly was able to lift herself, to her side was Taka, who was completely unconscious, and Masaba who was waiting eagerly for Alison to wake up. Alison lifted her head to see three blurry figures standing before her. Alison got on her knees as she rubbed her eyes.
"So at least one of them isn't dead." Said one of the blurry people.
"Heeeeeeeyyyyyy are you okay?" Asked the other. Alison shook her head as she saw clearly who the people before her were.
She gasped. "Callie and Marie?!"
"Oh, you recognize us?" Marie smiled. "Well, I guess we don't need any further introduction other than well... from our radio station that gramps left on: you two are Alison and Taka, AKA Agents 3 and 3.5, correct?" Agent 3 nodded. "And since you already know who we are we'll leave Cap'n to explain himself.

The Inkling between the cousins stood with his arms crossed. "It's very nice to meet you both, I am Cap'n Torvald Kenryoku. The NEW Cap'n of the Squidbeak Splatoon. I was Agent 3 before you. It's very nice to meet you both. Now you may be confused on where we are or why we're here. To put it simply: this is Alterna, a place where human lived before, they went extinct roughly 12,000 years ago. We're here because we keep picking up odd signals here. We thought it may have been linked to the strange disappearances of many Inklings and Octolings in Inkopolis."
Taka finally stood up. "You're saying you guys are also investigating the missing person cases?"
"That's right." Marie replied. "Now it appears Alterna is split into 5 sectors, on each we're picking up different signals that need investigating. it can be anything between a living person with a strong radio, or a giant metal object reflecting a strong radio signal. Nevertheless, we need to take the chance and investigate."
"Let's take that chance." Agent 3.5 smiled.
The two searched through the entire first sector but didn't find anything notable, most of the signals were just capsules containing trinkets which threw off the radio waves. "This area is a clear, but I'm not sure of the next area." Marie warned. Agent 3 and Agent 3.5 nodded before heading towards a tunnel with granted safe transportation towards the second area.
"There's defiantly something big over there!" Callie commented.
"Again, it could just be something throwing off a signal, not an actual radio." Marie corrected.
Agent 3 and Agent 3.5 entered the first kettle. they found themselves in a starting platform.
"Woah! what is this?" Callie asked.
"Looks like the starting platform from the metros..." Agent 3.5 whispered.
"[Booting Up System] [Lifeform(s) Detected.] Hello, and welcome to ALTERNA. I am your AI Assistant known as O.R.C.A."
"Whaaaaaaa?" Callie replied.
"I am here with the purpose of guiding [Person A: Short, Female, Age 20, Blue Eyes] and [Person B: Average height, Male, Age 21, Black Eyes] throughout Altera's many missions and test zones."
"that' doesn't seem too bad." Agent 3 commented.
"Then, let's move!" Agent 3.5 shouted.
Marie muted her radio as she looked over at Cap'n three, he was staring closely at the monitor as the two entered the first mission. Cap'n 3 noticed Marie's stare and fixed his posture. Marie and Callie exchanged glances, Cap'n was slightly flushed.
