Chapter 4: Development

A week later...

"Hey bro!!"

It was Jun.

"Hey, what's up?"

"How are things with you and Abhie?"

"I'm not quite sure right now"

"You act like you two are already going to break up even though she hasn't answered you yet."

"Shut up..."

That gave me thought to ponder.

*ring*

That's the bell. Time for recess.

"You may now take your recess" Mrs. Jimenez said

What am I going to eat today? Guess I'll eat alone again.

"KM!!"

It's Abegail.

"Do you want to eat lunch with us?"

She's with Jaycee, Shangrila and Roselyn.

"Sure why not?" I smiled

"Ayiee!" Roselyn squealed

We walked to the canteen. I was still thinking if i'll eat burger again or just have fries and shake.

There was lesser people at the fries stand. Then I looked to the burger counter.

Ok I'll have fries and shake. Lazyness strikes!!

They followed their usual siomai with shake.

After getting their orders they sat on a vacant table.

I followed them and sat next to Abegail.

It was pretty quiet when I got there.

I get the feeling something's up.

"So when will our first general rehearsal be?" I asked them

That broke the ice.

"Well Earl said there will be one this Saturday and asked everybody to come." Shangrila replied

She looked at Jaycee, Abegail, and Roselyn with a dumbfounded look.

"Why are you guys so quiet? That's not like you guys."

Well maybe it's because I'm here and you can't talk about your girly stuff.

I gestured her to stay quiet and eat but it seems she cant do that.

"Why did all of you become quiet when KM came over?"

I laughed at her in my head. Is she really that slow?

I suddenly felt too relaxed and moved a little bit closer to Abegail and offered my fries.

I wasn't surprised when there was a reaction between Roselyn and Jaycee.

Abegail just smiled at me and said

"Thanks. :)"

The day ended without another incident.

My usual day ended with me accompanying Abegail until the market.

We chatted for a little bit. But she took off early. But even I could tell

I don't know why but somehow I feel tired and couldn't wait to get home.

Maybe I was just expecting tommorow that much.
