Chapter 3: Maybe Next Time...

Three days of rehearsals every morning. And they even used up the time for our English subject.

Well, at least I'll have more time to relax.

"HEY MICHAIL, GET YOUR STUPID BUTT RIGHT HERE!"

I spoke too soon.

"What now?" I asked

"How's Abegail?" Jun asked

"How should I know? I'm not her keeper"

"There's been rumors going about what happened yesterday night."

"What did happen last night?"

"Well someone saw you two near the market, and it looked like..."

"Looked like what?"

"You got busted again?!" he laughed

Well that didn't actually happened.

It's very hard to explain so I'll just tell you what actually happened.

[Flashback]

7:30 pm (Dismissal Time)

"Hey Abegail?" I asked

"What is it? Do you want something?"

"Can I take you home?"

Whoops. That came out wrong.

"You want to take me home? Are you serious?" she asked with a grin

"No no no. What I was trying to say is that- uhm- ahh..."

Oh brother, here I go again.

"You want to walk me home?" she said

"Exactly! " :)

Well I did walk with her but only until the market.

"Uhm KM,"

"What is it?

"I changed my mind. Just walk me until here. My uncle would usually come to pick me up in his tricycle.

Well that sucks.

"Can't we just go to your house?" I insisted

"No. But..."

"Maybe next time... :)" she said with a smile

Next time? Will there be another time?

"I'll be looking forward to it then"

"But can I at least stay with you here until your uncle arrives?"

What a persistent little me.

"Ok. But you better hide when he comes."

"Is it because he might mistake me for your-"

"Boyfriend, right. :)"

Well I was kind of wishing I would actually be your boyfriend.

"Can I ask a question?"

"Uh-oh, here's my uncle. You better hide now."

Darn. Missed a chance to ask her out.

But I did wave goodbye to her.

"Maybe next time I'll be loving you." I said to myself
