Now we find it who Dearest is, in the chronological sense. It is both the title and the first line.

I made this to be a seal. I made it to be a manhole cover. I wrote it so that I wouldn't have to write like this again. That last one is mostly true.

I chose Eyrie's name, wouldn't you know. That's why it's also her handle *somewhere else.* It's something like a pun, but, if I think about how well it truly applies to her... it almost certainly doesn't. And then I realize I couldn't say one way or the other whether it does.

Mayhaps we shall make no mention of Eau de Parfum this day in this entry. That shall have to come later.

Of course, I knew most of the others less than I knew Eyrie. So what does that say.


And we finally make reference to the choir and their swirling voices after years of it laying in dirt. And then it was supposed to stay there.

I wonder how many more years it'll be before they might reanimate at me.
