LUCILLE, better known as lucy had always been popular. if people in school knew about what her life was like before her and taylor moved in together, they'd be in for a world of surprises. they'd find out things about lucy nobody knew except for taylor. the pair had been best friends since the ripe age of three, when a young taylor found a young lucy crying in her bedroom at a party at the hart families house. that night, taylor sat in bed with the brunette girl until she calmed down, and the two young girls ran back downstairs giggling, holding hands. a lifelong friendship had formed that day.
the girls practically just lived together on their own. technically, they lived with taylor's parents in the scott family home, but elizabeth and daniel scott were almost never home, usually on vacation somewhere, leaving the two girls the big house all to thereselves. when most people in hawkins found out the girls lived together they were almost always just, confused, but the girls would never tell that story. not until the day they died, they'd take that to the grave with them.

PEYTON WHEELER, was just your average middle school girl. frequently falling asleep in class, she'd slept through more classes than she'd actually learned anything in, but somehow was still passing with all a's. she spent most of her days in the basement of her house, playing dnd with the party, although she'd ditch them a lot to hang out with her older sister nancy. the two sisters had always been close. since peyton could remember nancy had always been the one she'd turn to.
peyton was a year older than mike but she was in the same grade as him and the rest of their friends due to the girl getting held back in the first grade. which her friends made fun of her for a lot, but it didn't bother her that much. she was sort of glad it happened, because she couldn't imagine her life any other way, her and mike were nearly inseparable because of what had happened her first grade year. she was content with the way her life was going, she was happy. until she wasn't.
