"WILL!" peyton yelled overtop if the pooring rain, holding her flashlight up as she covered her eyes with her hand, shielding them from the water coming down on her, "will byers!"

"i've got your x-men 134!" dustin yelled, before saying in a bit of a stressing out voice, "guys, i really think we should turn back."

"seriously, dustin?" lucas asked in disbelief that he'd even suggest something like that, "you wanna be a baby, then go home already!"

"lucas, lay off. it's pooring." peyton shoved lucas in the boys side

"thank you peyton." she could practically hear dustin's smile int he way he spoke, she then heard it falter as he yelled back at lucas, "and i'm just being realistic lucas!"

"no, you're just being a big sissy!" lucas yelled back, the boys had to yell in order to be heard above the rainstorm
"did you ever think wills went missing because he ran into something bad?! and we're going into the exact same spot where he was last seen! and we have no weapons or anything!"

"dustin, shut up." peyton turned to him, not in a mean way or anything, she just thought she heard something but the curly haired boy looking around in disbelief at her sudden switch up towards him
"i'm just saying, does that seem smart to you?!"

"shut up! shut up!" peyton stopped walking, hearing some sort of a rustling sound close by them, "did you guys hear that?"

she heard footsteps, and her and the boys turned towards them, gasping in fear, and then again, repeating their before actions. peyton's eyes widened as her flashlight shined on something, or, someone. they looked like a girl, by their face, but, their hair was buzzed, which threw her off a bit, peyton stepped a tiny step closer to the person, only to be pulled back again by mike. the girl looked to be around their age, and had a very sweet looking face. a strange feeling came over peyton as she smiled sweetly at the random girl, trying to relax the poor, drenched girl before them, "we won't hurt you, i promise." peyton spoke softly, causing the shaven girl to calm down a little, her breath evening out as she looked back at the wheeler girl

THE THUNDER GROWLED outside as the party sat in the wheelers basement, peyton had given the girl one of her winter coats for warmth, wrapping it around her shoulders

"is there a number we can call for your parents?" mike asked, as they all looked at the girl with curiousity

"where's your hair?" dustin asked, before his eyes widened further and he asked, "do you have cancer?"

"dustin!" peyton exclaimed lowly as she hit dustin in the side of his arm

"did you run away?" lucas asked

"are you in some kind of trouble?" peyton then asked, her voice soft as she looked at the girl with a concerned look in her pale blue eyes

"is that blood...?" lucas asked, reaching out towards the girl as both wheeler siblings slapped his arm down

"lucas!" peyton warned as she looked at the boy next to her brother, "you're freaking her out!"

"she's freaking me out!" lucas replied, making the wheeler girl roll her eyes

"i bet she's deaf." dustin suddenly commented, earning a strange look from peyton, before clapping in the girls face, making her flinch, "not deaf."

"she's not deaf, dustin." peyton rolled her eyes yet again, "she's just scared, she was in the woods, alone. do you expect her to be like... welcoming us with open arms when we find her?"
