As the moon hung high in the night sky, casting a dim glow over the desolate landscape. Nacht trudged through the Mana region with Nova cradled in his arms after he rescued her on the Spade kingdom.

The weight of her unconscious body felt heavier with each step, but he pressed on, his determination fueled by a mixture of exhaustion and guilt.

Despite his fatigue from countless battles, Nacht refused to let his weariness slow him down.

His mind raced with thoughts of Nova and the events that led to her current state. He couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment in himself for being late to rescue her.

With each passing moment, the weight of his failure weighed heavily on his shoulders.

He had promised to protect her, to keep her safe from harm, yet he had arrived too late to prevent her from falling into the clutches of the enemy.

As he navigated through the treacherous terrain, Nacht couldn't help but replay the scene in his mind, each memory a painful reminder of his shortcomings.

The echoes of battle cries and the scent of blood lingered in the air, serving as a haunting backdrop to his inner turmoil.

Despite the darkness that threatened to consume him, Nacht pushed forward, determined to make amends for his failure.

With each step, he vowed to do whatever it took to ensure Nova's safety and redemption, even if it meant facing his own demons along the way.

They arrived at the dimly lit chamber of Nacht's private safe place within the Clover Kingdom, the air was heavy with an aura of secrecy and protection.

Nacht gently laid Nova, on a soft bed adorned with plush pillows and silk sheets. With a solemn expression, he instructed his servants to tend to her, ensuring her comfort and well-being.

Turning to his loyal attendants, he issued orders with a firm voice,

"Ensure Nova receives the best care as possible." His servants nodded in understanding and swiftly carried out his commands, bustling around the room with silent efficiency.

As his head butler entered the room, Nacht's gaze met his with unwavering intensity.

"Find the most skilled magical healer in the Clover Kingdom," he commanded, his tone leaving no room for hesitation. "Bring them here at once."

" Yes! Master Nacht!"

With a bow of deference, the head butler acknowledged his master's orders and promptly departed, leaving Nacht to watch over Nova as she lay in peaceful slumber.

Exhaustion weighed heavily upon him, but he remained vigilant, his eyes never straying from her form as he allowed himself a moment of respite from the chaos that surrounded them.

In the hushed stillness of the chamber, Nacht's thoughts raced, filled with concern for Nova's well-being.

Despite the fatigue that threatened to consume him, he remained steadfast by her side, silently praying for her swift recovery as he watched over her.

"I'm sorry for my late arrival." He says even though he knows that Nova can't answer him back.

He didn't know how much time passed before he wakes up at the arrival of his servant.

" Master Nacht I came here with your order." His servant says as he approaches him.

Nacht nodded in response. After a long moment of waiting the best medical mage arrive at Nova's room. He acknowledged his presence and let him examine Nova.

As the medical mage opened his grimoire, Nacht was simply waiting for his diagnosis. The medical mage used his magic to examine Nova' s well being.

It took a moment before the mage fully healed her physical body. The healer sighs heavily as he approaches Nacht.

Nacht felt different emotions as the healer's words hung in the air like a heavy fog.

He gazed down at Nova, her chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm, yet her face was serene, trapped in an unbreakable slumber.

The weight of responsibility pressed down on him, threatening to crush his resolve.

"How was she?" Nacht questioned the mage, his voice barely audible.

The healer sighed, his expression burdened with regret.

"Some magics are too ancient, too powerful to be wielded lightly. Nova's desperation must have driven her to seek out forbidden knowledge."

" What do you mean." Nacht asked him directly.

" I am sorry, but the level of cursed magic placed upon her was beyond my capabilities." The mage politely explained to him.

" She probably used ancient forbidden magic for her to succumb to the curse of eternal sleep."

Nacht's jaw clenched, frustration and helplessness warring within him.

"What will I do? There must be something I can do to save her."

The healer hesitated, his gaze filled with sympathy.

"To mend her shattered soul, you would need to delve into the darkest depths of magic. But such power comes with a price, one that may be too high to pay."

Nacht's fists tightened at his sides, his mind racing with possibilities.

"Tell me what I need to do. I'll do whatever it takes to bring her back."

The healer shook his head sadly.

"I cannot in good conscience lead you down that path. The risks are too great, and the consequences too dire.
I'm sorry, This is beyond my expertise."

With a heavy heart, Nacht watched as the healer turned to leave, his footsteps echoing faintly in the silent room.

Left alone with Nova's still form, he knew that he faced an impossible choice.

" Don't worry I will find a way to break this curse." Nacht utter the words to Nova before he place a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Even though his exhaustion still lingered in his body he continued to leave Nova's side in order to find a way to cure her.
