Visible red string

Chapter 5

Nydia widen in shock, she can't believe Jerry can say that. Just when her point of view slow change to the good side, the coin did a 180 degrees turn back to the evil side. How dare he. Nydia can't stand him, he just does whatever he wants. But she does not want people to find out her power. While she thinks of the solution, her brain is having a civil war to conclude the fight. Group A: "He is a prick, ignore him." Group B: "We can't, what if he tells everyone at school? We have to keep the power a secret." Group A: "that is why he is a prick, blackmailing us. Just ignore him, which is what we always do." Group B: "but this time our power is at stake." Group A: "Er, just do whatever you want." The civil war in her head broke off, and she spoke up and said angrily to Jerry, "Fine, but just once."

Jerry beam in delight from Nydia's response, and cheerfully said, "Let's go!" He grabs her hand and drags her off the bench nearer to a stranger couple which they are walking and holding hands. He quickly dives behind a bush and squats down as Nydia follows his actions, Jerry whispered, "Where is the string connected for the two couple walking on the pathway?"

Nydia looks at the couple, they look about their age. She slowly search for the girl's red string of fate and see what it is heading. The string seems to be curling around the guy body but tend to head out into a different direction. Nydia signed in depression of the fact that the string does not connect, this is too common. Because... most of the time, the red string never seems to connects with the couple's she sees every day. Jerry is a bit confused from her reaction and whisper's, "What? What did you see? "

"Nothing,"

"Nothing?"

"Yes, not connect."

"Oh! Guess they are not destined to be together. Make sense that there strings does not connect" When he finishes his sentence he got up and said to Nydia, "Stay here for a bit." Nydia was shocked of what he said and his actions he is about to conduct. Jerry seems to be walking towards the couple. He jumps in front of the couple, they both jump back. After a second of intense glare from the two boys, they hug each other and start to laugh and giggle. Jerry let go of the embrace and face towards the girl, he said something to her and she ran off in tears. The boy with black hair attempt to run after the girl but Jerry grab him on his shoulders, he said something to him and the boy stick up three fingers. Jerry glared and him and said something. After they finish chatting Jerry walked towards Nydia and said cheerfully while grinning, "This case has been solved quickly and nicely." He winked when he finished the sentence.

Nydia flames lit up, "I told you this does not work! Why you broke up a couple once again and cause people pain from your childish behaviour! Have you not learnt your lesson?"

"What? What are you on about? I helped the girl."

"How can you help the girl, she was running off crying!" at this point, Nydia is shouting.

The model looking Asian boy walked towards Jerry and said, "Jerry, you naughty little boy, you made two girls dislike you in one day."

"Hey! I am not a little boy, just because you are taller than me does not mean I am a little boy. Plus, I'm older than you."

The two boys play fighting continued for a while. Jerry looked at the direction where Nydia to prove his innocent, but as he turn his head she is not there. He scan the area and notice her in the distance, straight away, Jerry sprint over to her and said, "Nydia! Why you ran off?"

"Can't stand you anymore, can't believe you. You used me to hurt people for amusement."

"Wait! Let me explain."

"No, go away. You will just make up excuses. I believe what my eyes tell me. And don't destroy people's lives. It is not a game for use to toy with."
