Chapter 7

The Asian boy spoke up to Nydia and said, "Hello beautiful. Do you remember me, I am Shun?" Nydia completely ignore and walk past him. To catch Nydia's attention he said in a joking tone, "your boyfriend upset my girlfriend the other day, how will you pay for that?"

Nydia flipped her head around to the boy and angrily responded, "Jerry is not my boyfriend!" she calm down a bit and said, "How is your girlfriend?"

"Not bad I guess, since we broke up so I won't know her up to date information."

Nydia angry face crunched up like a scrunch up paper, and whisper to herself, "Jerry such an asshole." As she wants to complain more about Jerry, Shun's mobile phone rang, he pick up his phone excusing himself from Nydia, "Hello sweetie. What is the matter? Did you miss me? Yeah, I am free this weekend. Yes, of course. " Straight after he end this conversation, another phone call came in, "Hello my darling, yes. I will come over to your house. Yes. Bye."

Nydia is very confused from the two phone calls Shun received. Shun registered Nydia's confusion and said, "I just want the girls to be happy, not my fault if I two time them."

"WHAT!" Nydia is very shocked from his response, she slowly processed everything in her brain and she asked him, "You are the cause that made girl cry the other day?"

"Ping pong! That is right, well.... It is not my fault, she said she will be happy no matter who I am. But once she heard I was dating more than three girlfriends from Jerry she ran off crying."

"Asshole," Nydia spit the word at him and stormed off.

Nydia sit on a beach in the park to sort out her thoughts. Zooming into the 'brain conference meeting room':

Positive excitedly announce, "See! He is a good guy! He was helping the girl to not date a player!"

Negative add on with less power and anger than usual, "But he can still be a bad guy. What if Jerry has a motive? Maybe he asked his friend to say all that bullcrap as a show?"

As Positive want to reject what Negative said, Reasonable add in a valid point, "Shun did not put on a show, we heard the voice from the other side of his mobile phone. And it is certainly a woman's voice, both different people."

Neutral stopped Negatives verbal attack and said, "That sounds reasonable. Can't back chat on that."

Head judge stood up from her seat and said, "In conclusion, Jerry did not lie about helping the girl that ran off."

Reasonable just remembered something important and announced, "oh! We need to apologise to Jerry. Don't we?"

Everyone nod in agreement, apart from Negative. But everyone ignored her and concluded the meeting.

The next day, during lunch time, Nydia open the heavy door to enter into the sixth form common room. As she struggling to open the door everyone swing their heads towards her with their eyes as big as marbles. Why everyone is in shock? Well... Nydia never goes to place where people gather. Normally she love to sit outside near the grass and trees while listen to music through her headphones. What brings her here? Nydia looks around the room like a duckling in search for its mother. Mell wondering who attract her here? She excused herself from her friends, and bounced on Nydia. "Heya Nydia, what brings you here? Looking for someone?"

"Hello Mell, I am looking for Jerry."

"Oh! He is at the back of the room." Mell pointed in the direction of where he is and was very cheerful since Nydia asked for her help. Nydia walked toward the direction of where Jerry is, but after 3 steps Nydia stopped and start mumbling to herself. Mell is very confused why Nydia hesitated, she was a bit worried but then she giggled and said in a teasing tone, "Nydia, are you going to confess your love to him?"

Nydia denied strongly "NO! Why does everyone thinks that?"

"Woah woah, calm down Nydia, this is so not like you."

" Sorry."

"Hm... but I do think you are very close with him."

Nydia calm down a bit and questioned Mell, "How so?"

"Hm... I am not very sure. Erm... well...after he transferred into the school. You seems to change a lot. You seem to be happier and more open when you are around him."

"Huh? Happier ?"

"Yeah! You seem like you are having fun with Jerry. When you are arguing with him, in fact anything you two do. You seem to be having a lot of fun."

"Fun?" Nydia wondered out of the common room aimlessly deep in thought, whispering to herself. Mell called after her but completely ignored her. Mell nod to herself, convinced that Nydia is in love with Jerry.
