"Lakshmi, Lakshmi," he chanted with all his heart,
As Siva and Brahma appeared, ready to impart.
Their blessings upon the sacred land,
Taking the form of cow and calf, hand in hand.

Into the midst of cows, they ventured together,
In search of Narayan, in any weather
Spotting him, the cow eagerly ran,
Pouring her milk into an anthill, a divine plan.

To quench the thirst of Vishnu, so pure,
The cowherd watched, his heart unsure
Why the cow would waste her precious milk,
He grabbed his axe, feeling a sense of ilk.

He raised the axe, about to strike,
But Narayan intervened, his forehead alike
To the bolt of thunder, his anger fierce,
As the cowherd faced his final pierce.

The divine eyes of Vishnu, filled with grace,
Bore witness to the cowherd's final embrace
As he took his last breath, gazing upon,
The sacred form of the Lord, his new dawn.

With a scar upon his head, Srinivasa tread,
Towards the mountain, where Varaha led
An avatar of Vishnu, a sight so rare,
A wondrous moment, beyond compare.

In the land of Tirumala, where the mountains reach the sky,
Srinivasa smiled and went towards him, with a gleam in his eye.
Varaha, the guardian of the hill, stood tall and stronng,
As Srinivasa greeted him and asked to stay for long.

"I have been staying on your mountain," Srinivasa began,
"May I get your permission to stay here, to bless my devotees, my plan."
Varaha, with a curious look, questioned with a smile,
"Why do you want to stay here, what makes it worthwhile?"

Srinivasa's smile never faded, as he replied with ease,
"For my devotees, who come seeking blessings and peace."
"I can't pay you anything,as my dear left me" he added with a heartfelt tone.

"But the devotees who seek my presence, must first come to you first”"

Varaha, nodded in agreement,
For he knew the importance of devotion and fulfillment.
And so, Srinivasa stayed on the sacred grounds,
Where his devotees could find him, and his love knew no bounds.

The ode to Srinivasa, the lord of Tirumala's peak,
Whose smile brought joy to all who seek.
For in the presence of Varaha, the two became one,
Blessing the devotees, until north becomes the rising direction of the sun.
