1. Friends forever.

“Oh c’mon, wake up now or we both are late to school”, “Darling, did you forget it's the
first day of your freshman year?”....
“Mom, El, please let me sleep 5 more minutes .....hmm....
WAIT, Freshers? First day?School? And El? FUCK! I totally forgot it's the first day of our high school” shouted Kynlee while getting out of her bed. “Why didn’t you wake me up early? Mom!!!”
“I tried honey but you weren’t waking up so i called Elvie” said Kynlee’s mother, Mrs. Smith, while she made breakfast for kynlee.
“Would you like some, Elvie?” Mrs. Smith asked El aka Elvie gray, kynlee’s childhood bff. “No thank you Mrs. Smith, I had my breakfast at home” Elvie said with a big bright smile on her face. “Ugh, where is my t-rex dinosaur shirt? Mom, where did you put it?” said Kynlee as she rummaged through the laundry. "It’s right there, honey. Would you mind if I find it for you? Till then eat the breakfast" "Yes please, i would love that, AHHH, this is a total mess!!!!!"
Kynlee Smith, a 16 years old girl with lots of dreams. Due to her family issues, her mother, sister and kynlee live separately from their family and relatives. Kynlee’s past trauma resulted in her introverted, rude and shy behaviour. She isolated herself from others at a young age in fear of being abandoned in the end. Once in 4th grade, Kynlee was sitting all by herself at lunch as always, and a girl approached her. Shockingly it’s the new girl, Elvie gray. “Aren’t you feeling lonely sitting all by yourself?” said the new girl, “ Would you like to come and join me? I am kinda new here and don’t have many friends…Maybe you can help me.” A bright smile flashed at Kynlee as her little dark world came to an end. That’s how kynlee and Elvie became best friends. As time passed, they got to know each other more and more and started to share a special bond. It was also found that Kynlee and Elvie both were huge kpop fans and loved to watch dramas. Both shared the same sense of humour, similar interests and hatred towards the same things. This made their bond more stronger.
“I hate how things are going till now” :’( a heavy sigh could be heard by her friend. “It was your fault, how could you even forget the first day of our school, you idiot” said El to kynlee.“Geez, I'm sorry, okay? I just loooovvveee to sleep, it’s heaven and peace” said kynlee as she opened her arms and hugged the air. “Honestly, Me too, I mean who can resist sleep? Probably not us”, “Heh, I know, that’s why we are friends ....Friends Forever” said kynlee as she embraced her best friend.
“Okay okay, i get it, now get off me, haha".“Finally, we reached!!!!YAYYY!!!” shouted El in excitement, “Gotta part our ways here. See ya later girl”
“See you too, byee”
Both bid their goodbyes and continued on their respective paths. “29 Science…29,29, yep, here, hash…here goes nothing.”
Kynlee entered her classroom, 29 science. She was nervous about her first impression on others because
in the end it matters to her a lot. The whole classroom fell to silence which made it even more awkward for kynlee to enter. “Looks like all the front seats are occupied, I should probably go to the back.” As kynlee sat on the 3rd last bench of the last row a girl burst into
laughter. Unaware of her presence, Kynlee's heart skips a beat. “OMG!! WTF WAS THAT!?!?!? I almost had a heart attack” , Kynlee said to herself as she turned her head towards her left to look for the figure.
A girl with short brunette hair was sitting beside her. Kynlee thought it would be a great idea to befriend some people from her class as El cannot always be with her. Kynlee was really nervous because she had never interacted with people her age except El. "I keep overthinking, I miss El", Kynlee thought to herself. Time passed, first lecture was done, even second was done but kynlee just couldn't gather herself to talk to the girl beside her who was now sitting quietly. Eventually, lunch break came and kynlee rushed out of her class to meet El. She saw El talking to a group of people so she slowed down and patiently waited for her there. El's attention got caught by kynlee and she came to her, "Hey, did I make you
wait for a long time? Sorry for that" she said, "why didn't you come and join us? We could have had a great conversation plus, you could have made some new friends…" ,
"No, I just got here. Wait, how'd you know that I didn't make any new friends here? Were you stalking me?" Kynlee asked as she gave a side eye to El. "Oh c’mon kynlee, isn't it obvious? I know
you for so many years now, i know you won't be able to make friends this easily, but it's okay, take your time" said El, "Even if you make no friends, i'll always be your bff♡" El made a finger heart at kynlee which made her somewhat happy, "Thanku El, i'll always be your
friend too." kynlee hugged El, "only friend? Not bff, what a shame I was considering you my bff, aww." El pouted at kynlee, "Yes yes, you are my bff. Best friend Forever. Let's go to the cafe later, I loved the cheesecake we had last time there."
"Okay, let's do that then." El agreed.
Later at the cafe, as El and kynlee were talking they saw kynlee’s favourite cheesecake, the only slice left. "OMG!!!! CHEESECAKE!!!! MY FAV- OR- ITE….Ohhh…."
