A Promise We Made

2. The day we met.

Elvie gray, a 16 years old girl, wants to be a famous guitarist. But it looks like her parents had some other plans. After a lot of convincing and begging her parents got her a guitar on her 12th birthday just because they couldn't bear to see their daughter upset. El had a marvellous talent in playing guitar without anyone's guidance. Years passed by and El became an expert in playing guitar. She even wrote poems and songs by herself and played them on it. As she played a song dedicated to friendship she remembered the day when she met kynlee. Back in 4th grade when her family had to move to another city El also had to leave her old friends and school behind. She was a little upset about it and nervous about how her days in the new school would go by...
On the 3rd day of school, at lunch time, El noticed that a girl was sitting all by herself. She looked very quiet, alone and a little bit rude but this didn't bother El and she decided to be friends with her. Only if she wanted to be of course. Without a second thought El rushed towards the girl and asked her, "Aren't you feeling lonely by sitting alone here?" Unaware of what El meant the girl just stared at her blankly. "Would you like to come and join me? I am kinda new here and don't have many friends...Maybe you can help me." asked El with a bright smile on her face. It looked like it worked on the lone girl. You might have guessed by now who she was. Yes, it was kynlee. This was the story on how kynlee and Elvie met...

"As i was kynlee's friend over years now, i can just guess her behaviour even when she's not with me." Said El to herself as she made her way to her class. "Hmm, let's see, 12 arts huh...I guess it's on the first floor. I hope the front benches are empty although we were late" El sighs. Just as El entered the class she saw a 3rd bench empty. Elvie rushed to sit there. That's when she saw a girl sitting there too. She asked the girl politely if she could sit besides her and the girl nodded. At first El felt kind of awkward talking to the girl so she sat quietly until their teacher came. Time passed by and the lectures were over. Elvie rushed out of her class to find Kynlee. That's when a group of people asked her to stop. El recognized them from her class as she was very observant of everyone. El felt weird on why did they stopped her so she said, "I'll eat your family👹 stay away from me bitches." Just joking, that's not what she said, Meh XD. The group of people noticed how El was able to answer all the questions of the teacher so they came to ask her some questions which they couldn't ask the teacher. On hearing this, El felt relieved and explained the questions to them. While talking to them, she noticed that kynlee was waiting for her there so she bid her goodbyes with the group and rushed to kynlee. "Hey, did I make you wait for a long time? Sorry for that" she said, "why didn't you come and join us? We could have had a great conversation plus, you could have made some new friends..." Kynlee was shocked and asked if El was stalking her. El laughed at her question and comforted her. They agreed to go to Kynlee's favourite cafe and have some cheesecake. As they were going to the cafe, El randomly started to remember the time when kynlee defended Elvie from the bullies. This made El very happy and swore to always protect and be by Kynlee's side. Suddenly she heard an excited scream, "OMG!!!CHEESECAKE!!!! MY FAV- OR- ITE....Ohhh...." Both kynlee and Elvie stopped.
