A Promise We Made

5. A library situation.

Few days have passed since the cafe thingy. Kynlee, Elvie, Cascia and Melody started hanging out together. They met during the lunch breaks and after-school leave. Kynlee was really happy because they had gotten close so she got the courage to ask the girls their numbers without being shy. A lot of classes were yet to start as it was just the beginning of high-school. Most of the professors let the students leave early too.
"Bye, we'll see you guys later." Melody and Cascia bide their goodbyes as they went for their next classes.
"I'll go too now or i'll be late, okay?" Elvie said as she packed her bag and got up from her sit. They were all sitting in the cafeteria for lunch break. "Yep, take care, i'll be in the library, once class get over ring me up" Kynlee says as she smiles at her friend. "Okay, bye, i'll see you later, you too take care." Kynlee watches as Elvie leaves the cafeteria. Sighs "I'm left alone again, why aren't our classes being held too, i'm bored of going in the library again and again." Kynlee thinks as she leaves too. On the way to the library Kynlee saw a random boy playing football on the ground. She keeps staring at him unintentionally, "Wow...He's so handsome...Well, only pretty girls get handsome guys, i don't even stand a chance. Still...if only-" as Kynlee is lost in thoughts she notices the boy looking at her. He flashes a bright smile at her but she starts blushing and looks down in embarrassment as the boy chuckles on her manner. She runs towards the library and starts huffing. "OMG!!! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?!?!Why did he smile like that?? And that also at me T_T." Kynlee, who's once again lost in thoughts, walks recklessly in the library. Bump. "Ouch, watch where you are going!" An unfamiliar voice yells at the starstruck girl. "What!? I should watch where I am going?? You are the one laying on the floor. Who tf lays on the library floor and read!!??" Kynlee yelled back. "CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE BE SILENT?? THIS IS A LIBRARY!!" The librarian scolded the both of them, "If you both want to fight, get out and fight not here, understood?" The librarian looked furious like she wasn't getting paid enough for this shit. "Yes ma'am..." both replied to the librarian. "I lay on the floor, okay??" The boy says in a low voice, "I like to read while I'm on the floor, what about you? Can't you see with those 4 eyes of yours??" (Referring to her specs) "Wha- Do you know there's something called chair and table, you smartass? Now get out of the way" Kynlee yells in whisper. "Hah, like i will. If you have some nerve then step on me and see what happens." The boy, now getting up, says proudly. "Haaaa😳T-that sounds so w-wrong, you idiot" a faint tint of red creeps on Kynlee's cheeks. "W-what? Oi, i didn't mean it like that, you pervert" the boy says in disgust. "Me?? And pervert?? Wow...how dare you!!!" Kynlee once again yells resulting in the librarian to scold her again. "Hahaha, serves you right." The boy laughs mischievously. "You- you" Kynlee couldn't finish her sentence due to her anger. "Whatever, i am leaving, i hope to never see you again. Peace out." The boy leaves the library. "Ugh, who the heck was he? My mood is completely destroyed now ToT."
After some time passed, Kynlee was reading her physics book in confusion. A boy approches her table and asks, "Hello, Is this seat taken?" She quickly looks up to see who it was. It was the same football guy she had seen on ground playing. She was zoned out again which made the boy awkward. "Sorry, but i was asking..."
"O-oh, yea no, its not taken."
"That's great" he smiles at her, "All the tables are full except this one so i asked. I can sit here, right?"
"Yeah, of course" Kynlee smiles back.
"SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!!!! AHHHHHH!!! WHY IS HE SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!! WTH, HE'S MORE HANDSOME CLOSE UP. HE IS SO POLITE TOO!!!!!" Kynlee was bursting with different emotions inside her. She couldn't help but keep glancing at the beauty sitting infront of her. The boy caught on this and asked if something was wrong.
"Oh no, i just wanted to ask your name...haha..." Kynlee said awkwardly.
"Ah! Its Asher, Asher Miles" The boy replied.
"Nice to meet you Asher, I am Kynlee Smith"
"Nice to meet you too, are you a fresher?" He asked, "Just your book looks like the first year's book so i assumed..."
"Oh- yes, i'm a fresher, what about you? Are you a fresher too?" Kynlee asked feeling curious.
"No, i'm a 3rd year student, haha, do i look that young??" He chuckled.
"OHHHH, 3rd year, so it must be your last year, right?" She asked.
"Yeah, it indeed is. I'm going to miss this school so much..."
"Yea haha..." Kynlee felt awkward again. "WTF!?!?!?! He's in 3rd year, my senior T_T fuck my chances, why god why, why wasn't he the same age as me." Kynlee thought in her mind as she continued to read her book.
The silence was filled up in the room and it felt much louder than anything else.
"Ugh, this silence is going to kill me, i can't focus properly." Kynlee thought to herself as she squeezed her eyes. Asher saw this and was concerned about Kynlee.
"Are you okay, is there-" Asher was interrupted by a phone call.
"Oh, it must be my phone, i told my friend to call me when she leaves." Kynlee explained, "I guess this is my time to go, I'll see you around senior, bye" Kynlee got up as quickly as she could and ran out.
"Oh you-"Asher watched as Kynlee left the library in rush, "....don't have to call me senior..."sighs.
"EL!!!!YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED TODAY!!!" Kynlee rushed towards El and hugged her tightly. "Woah, calm down, miss" Elvie says as she pulls out of the hug, "Now tell me, what happened"
"So, i was on my way to library and...."
