"Oh...., the only last slice... is gone ....Aw, I wanted that," I muttered as I watched the last slice of cheesecake being given to the two girls standing on the other side. We could recognize them from their school due to their uniforms. "Look El, they are from our school"
"I can see that Kynlee, but don't you want that cake??" Elvie asked. "Yes I do, but they took it so...it's theirs now, let's go get something else :(" I said as I sulked while looking at the cake. "I thought it's your favourite?? Fine, your decision" El said thinking of the times when I used to fight over the things I loved or were my favourite and others had it or took it from me. "Looks like Kynlee is changing...for good..." Elvie felt a bit sad, "I shouldn't be sad, it is good that she is changing her bad habits. In the end, she can't get everything she wants" El thought to herself as we walked towards the counter. "Excuse me, do you have any cheesecakes left?" I asked to the familiar lady at the counter. "Oh, I recognize you, you come by now and then." said the lady. "Yes, you guys make the best desserts, they are my favorite!" I exclaimed my fondness as I flashed a bright smile at the lady. "That's so nice of you to say, thank you dear but I think you might not be able to enjoy it today as you can see we are out of cheesecakes today, my dear, sorry." The kind lady said feeling pity for us girls. "That's quite alright miss, we'll take something else today, right Kynlee?" El said as she looked at me while I nod back. "Yes, that's alright, I'll take 1 cream puff and a cup of cappuccino. What about you El?", "I'll take veg puff and latte" El replied. "Will that be all for today?" The lady asked. "Yes, we'll pay with cash" I answered. The lady smiled and asked if we would be eating there or would take away the order. "We would like to have them here, please" El said as she looked at the lady. "Alright, please take a seat while I bring out your order, thank you." Both of us thanked the lady and sat at one of the corners just behind the two girls from before.
After some time the lady returned with their orders. "Here it is, enjoy." She said as she went back to work. The dessert looked way more delicious for me than usual. "I can't wait to- " I was cut off by the sudden presence of someone.
Beautiful long ginger hair just like the sunset, bright purple eyes like an amethyst crystal shining as the sunlight gets reflected, perfect facial structure and skin golden brown looked as though was glitter spread across her face. She looked so stunning even when she was wearing the dull high school uniform. My jaw dropped to the floor as Elvie helped me pick it up. "Hi, I'm Cas-" the beautiful girl was interrupted by my shocked self "YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!" I screamed. I realized what I said and covered my mouth quickly. "Sorry for my friend's rude behaviour, you were saying something" El said as she glared at me. "It's quite alright, thank you for your compliment haha, My name's Cascia Cassano, nice to meet you." The girl said as she smiled at us. "Has the god listened to my prayers that they have blessed me with such a beauty?" I said dramatically as Cascia laughed. "Trying hard to impress?" El gave me a side eye. "Anyway, Hello, I'm Elvie Gray and this is my best friend Kynlee Smith, nice to meet you Cascia." Elvie said as we shook each other's hands. "I saw you both enter the cafe and Kynlee right here seemed excited about the cheesecake" Cascia continued, "And if I recognized the uniform right, you guys seem to be from our school. So, Me and my friend over there thought why not share the cheesecake between us , hm?"
"We might also get to know each other!!" An excited voice came from behind of Cascia, "Nevertheless, Sharing is caring, right??"
