The rest of that afternoon and evening were understandably awkward to say the least. Mick refused to even look at Ana and Amber, while Amber just prattled on as if nothing had happened.

For Anastasia it wasn't that easy. That kiss had shaken up not just the one stable relationship in her life, but a whole hell of a lot of complicated feelings she had worked so hard to stamp down!

She obviously wasn't blind to how supermodel gorgeous both of her best friends were, and if she was being honest, her eyes were guilty of drifting to Amber's lips once or twice... but for god's sake she would never in 100 years make a move on her best friend's S.O. and in Ana's case that was doubly so! Yet here she was, unable to shake the memory of Amber's lips pressed firmly against hers.

Given her not so straight feelings being directed at her best friend, Ana had fiercely debated going to Nina's initiation. She had eventually decided to skip the drama in favor of a self-care night. Applying a face-mask and blasting some Taylor Swift, Ana settled in for a long night of fiercely ignoring her sneaky feelings.

Ana woke to find the house still standing and no police officers around, so she assumed that Nina had successfully passed Patricia's hazing attempt. Slipping on her dressing gown and fuzzy slippers, Anastasia rushed through her morning routine as she plotted her offense for the day. She figured that her first order of business should be sorting things out with Mick. It wouldn't do for one of her besties to be mad at her, Mickey had to know that she had NOTHING to do with Amber's insane move of kissing her... no matter how much she might have secretly enjoyed it.

Skipping breakfast, Ana booked it over to school in search of her friend. Luckily years of friendship meant that Ana knew exactly where to locate the blond boy.

Approaching the track, Ana made herself comfortable on the bleachers and waited until the football player came around the bend.

"What the heck do you want, Stace?" Mick asked, annoyed.

"I just want to talk, Mickey" begged Ana.

"Not interested. I can't stop for too long or else my hamstrings will tighten up" denied the boy, clearly trying to avoid the conversation.

Anastasia's lips thinned into a look of displeasure. Shaking her head she rose to her feet. "Fine I'll run with you".

As much as she wished that Mick would be reasonable and talk to her, he was also a teenage boy. Ana had enough experience with trying to get Mick to talk about his feelings that she had expected this outcome. Which was why she had made sure to wear her work out clothes: a pair of rose gold and black Nikes, a pair of black leggings and a sparkly rose gold inspirational running tank.

"Fine. Just keep up" grunted the boy, before jogging back out to the track. Rolling her eyes, Ana tightened her ponytail and headed out after him.

"Man! You know what would be a killer prank to play on Amber?" schemed Jerome.

"What" asked Alfie.

"Well given how the golden trio is on the outs, I'm thinking we should help along the chaos by introducing some romance into the mix. Clearly Amber is in the market for a new S.O.. So why not you? Alfie, you've got to get in there with some romantic moves".
