Summary: Isis House Parties are the best!

Ana was having a blast at the party... at least she was trying to. It was rather difficult to let loose and have fun when you had a very clingy, super drunk and mopey best friend attached to you.
"What are you even down about?" snapped an exasperated Ana. "You scored the winning goal of today's game, where did all that excitement go?"
"Down the laundry room drain" mumbled Mick so quietly that Ana thought she must have misheard.
"The laundry room? What?"
"Real talk. Ana, do you love me?" asked Mick, his piercing blue eyes locking her in place.
"Mickey of course I do" hummed Ana seriously. "What's got you talking crazy?".
"Nothing, just something Clarke said. But I needed to be sure somebody did" replied Mick before he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled Ana in for a sad hug.
Anastasia sighed and hugged him back, petting the depressed boy's hair. "You clearly need to sober up. I'm telling Tyler to let you crash here and then I'm going home" sighed Ana, knowing she wouldn't be able to lug him back across campus like this herself. She was strong, but not that strong.
It was still early in the evening, but Mick had obviously gone way too hard in order to wipe away whatever was bothering him. Locating the Football team captain Ana made him promise to look after Mick before exiting Isis house.
Luckily she was only slightly tipsy since she had spent most of the evening babysitting Mick. Lindsey had tried to convince Ana to let her walk her home or to call for a campus security escort, but Ana didn't want to wait. She wanted to get home and go to bed, hopefully putting her friends out of her mind.
Tottering along in her heels, Ana slowly made her way back to Anubis House. Given that the sun had gone down and a chill had set in, Ana opted to take the shortcut through the woods along the pond.
As she hurried through the dark wood Ana was on edge. She eyed every corner and jumped at the creepy sounds. She couldn't be sure if it was the shadows or her brain playing tricks on her, but Ana could have sworn that she saw the figure of a man dressed in gray watching her through the trees. Even if it was just her brain playing tricks on her, Ana knew she had to get home now! So kicking off her heels, Ana raced through the woods ready to be safe in her bed.
Five minutes later, Ana was home safe, sneakily closing the door behind her. True she wasn't close to breaking curfew, but she was really not in the mood to talk to anyone. Sneaking up the stairs, Ana made her way to her room and collapsed on top of her covers. She didn't even bother to change her clothes, falling asleep...

"Ugh, I feel like I was run over by a semi truck" whined Ana, limping into the room.
"Morning Ana" greeted Amber.
"Uh huh" mumbled Ana marching past the blonde to flop down in Mick's normal seat, wanting to keep as much space as she could between her and her bestie.
"What's wrong with you?" asked Alfie.
"Oh bug off" grumped Ana, serving herself a bowl of hot oats and peaches.
"She was at that Isis party with Mick last night. You know how those go" explained Fabian.
"Say no more, you coming to class this morning?" asked Patricia.
"Of course not, I am fully planning on sleeping off the rest of this before rocking up to fifth period with Starbucks" replied Ana, shooting Patricia a sharp look.

Ana had spent the morning hydrating and trying to recover from the previous night's party. She rocked up class just in time for Mr. Winkler to start his History lesson. Anastasia chose to sit in the far corner of the room away from both Amber and Mick.
"So," Mr. Winkler started. "Have you guys given any more thought to your ancient history projects? Mick?"
"Yeah," Mick answered. "History of the Roman Gladiatorial Games."
"Excellent."
"With a practical demonstration of me as a gladiator, humiliating and destroying Alfie in a very public arena." Mick continued with anger in his voice. Now that the alcohol was out of his system he was back to being furious with the boy.
"Right," Mr. Winkler replied before continuing to the next student. "Fabian, any more thoughts on your project?"
"Yeah," Fabian said excitedly. "Nina and I thought we might do something on Egyptian mythology."
"Yeah, especially with Anubis house being named after an Egyptian god," Nina added.
"Nice one, nice one," Mr. Winkler nodded. "You know, I'm a particular fan of Egyptian mythology. All that interest in life after death and living forever."
"Ew. Who'd want to live forever? Imagine how wrinkled you'd get," Amber blurted out, causing some laughter throughout the class. Aside from Mick that is, who merely scoffed at her comment.
"Right," Mr. Winkler stated, turning around to write on the board.
"What's wrong with you" whispered Amber heatedly at Mick.
"What do you think is wrong with me?" snapped Mick.
"I have absolutely no idea"
"Quiet you two!" snapped Mr. Winkler
Janet, one of the Isis students shot Ana a curious look, gesturing between the two bickering blondes. Ana just rolled her eyes about the pair. She wanted nothing to do with the tumultuous blondes until they sorted their issues out. Adjusting her notebook, Ana turned her attention back to the teacher
"Ok, we will continue this after lunch" directed Mr. Winkler as the bell rang.
Ana raced out of the classroom with her bag, ready for lunch. As she left, Ana could hear Alfie offer to carry Ambers books. God, could that relationship get any more insane?!?!
