"You don't try hard enough."
They scream as I'm on my knees.
Begging for them to listen,
To look through my eyes,
And see how the red glistens.
Can't you see my soul bleed?
Hear my heart break and my bones crack.
Withdrawals from the constant need,
Of freedom and validation.
Crushing my entire being.
"You don't try hard enough."
They chant on repeat,
Screaming with utter ignorance.
You don't care to see my pain,
To feel the things i've been through.
To taste the venom from other people's words.
All i've done is try,
i'm exhausted from the sounds of your disappointment.
