Christine's getting ready to go onstage but gets hungry, innocently she indulges in a sandwich backstage however Christine's innocent indulgence in a sandwich backstage had quickly spiraled into a nightmare. halfway through the gig, mid-performance, she doubled over, her face drained of color as she struggled to keep her composure, she instantly began to feel sick.she rushed offstage throwing up in a nearby garbage can, Lindsey dances his way over to John and says "go check on her" John immediately rushes offstage,Backstage, he found her doubled over, her body wracked with nausea. "Are you okay?" John's voice trembled with concern as he knelt beside her, offering a steadying hand.

she doesn't respond "You'll be alright," he reassured her softly, his presence a comforting anchor in the chaos. With John's support, Christine managed to steady herself. she said "i'm alright... probably shouldn't have eaten before going onstage" Now, as they prepared to return to the stage after Christine's bout with nausea, John's concern was palpable. "Are you alright to go back onstage?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.

Christine hesitated, placing a hand on her stomach as she weighed her options. "I'm not sure," she admitted, her voice strained with uncertainty.

Sensing her hesitation, John gently suggested, "Maybe you should rest backstage and allow your stomach some time to settle."

But Christine shook her head, determination flashing in her eyes. "No, I'd rather be onstage," she insisted, her resolve unwavering.

Taking charge, John called over a stagehand and requested some ginger ale. When it arrived, he handed it to Christine, insisting on taking her accordion and suggesting she stick to the keyboard for the rest of the night.

Agreeing reluctantly, Christine took a sip of the ginger ale, feeling its soothing warmth as they walked hand in hand back onstage. As they approached her keyboard, she took another sip and addressed the crowd. "Don't worry, everyone, I'm fine," she reassured them, her voice steady despite the lingering discomfort. "Just shouldn't have eaten before going onstage."

Stevie noticed the can of ginger ale on Christine's keyboard. "Christine, if you're nauseous, maybe you should go rest backstage," she suggested over the microphone, concern evident in her voice.

Lindsey chimed in, his voice echoing Stevie's concern. "I agree," he added, his tone serious.

But John intervened, his voice firm and unwavering. "She wants to be onstage, so let her stay onstage," he asserted, his gaze steady on Christine. "But Christine, if you go offstage again, you're staying offstage to rest."

Christine nodded, acknowledging John's directive as they continued their performance. And as the gig came to a close, she couldn't help but feel grateful for John's unwavering support, both on and off stage. she had made it through 90% of the gig however just before the last song she places a hand over her mouth, Stevie is the first to notice then Lindsey, after the song ends a moment later Stevie says into her microphone "that's it! Christine you're not well, you need to be resting backstage" Christine replied "I'm fine, really" Lindsey said into his microphone"no chris youre not you were throwing up just a bit ago, you need to get off this stage right now and go rest" Christine again said "i'm perfectly fine" however John says "no, chris for once i agree with Lindsey, you're not fine and it wasn't because of a sandwich you ate before the gig, you've probably come down with something and you need to be resting, both your body and your voice, we've got" he pauses then says "how many songs Mick?" Mick replies "one and thats Lindsey" John says "alright we got one song left, go sit backstage and rest and i'll see you after okay" Christine says again "i'm fine" but John replies "Christine Ann Perfect-McVie you are far from fine" she sighs "okay John maybe you lot are right" she exits the stage and walks backstage midway through Lindsey's song John notices Christine throwing up again, Lindsey dances his way over to John and says "why don't you go, go take care of her" John says "are you sure?" Lindsey says "yes, now go she needs you" John rushes backstage and walks over to christine saying "here, let me feel you, see if you're warm" she says "what are you doing here John? shouldn't you be onstage?" he replies "Lindsey made me get offstage to take care of you" he places a hand on her forehead and says "well, you aren't warm, so no clear signs of fever, how do you feel?" Christine replies "nauseous" John says "i'm sorry, we'll go to the hotel soon i promise and you can lay down As the final notes of Lindsey's song faded into the ether, John's voice cut through the applause, a beacon of reassurance in the dimly lit theater. "I'm gonna go bow, and then we'll head back to the hotel," he announced, his tone a gentle caress amidst the lingering chaos. With a nod, he joined his bandmates onstage, bowing in unison as the audience's applause washed over them.
