[3 weeks later]

Blurry objects surrounded Jungkook's hazy dream, too heavy and dark. They instantly filled Jungkook with fear, his arms flailed around to try and swipe the shadows away, but they wouldn't leave, his body was stuck and couldn't move no matter how hard he tried to run away.

Jungkook gasped for air that suddenly wasn't there, his limbs aching to move but something forceful kept him down, letting the blurry dark objects prance and taunt him from above.

If it weren't for a comforting hand soothing down his back, Jungkook wouldn't have been broken out of that nightmare.

"Love? Are you okay?"

Jungkook's cat ears heard the familiar, comforting voice before anything, his heavy eyes then blinked open, revealing his bedroom laced with no shadows coming after him.

"Tae?" Jungkook choked out, rough from slumber, his mind not processing much besides the fact that he was in his bedroom having a nightmare and somehow his mate was next to him. Was he still dreaming? How could Taehyung be here if he was in his own bedroom?

A soft chuckle came from his side and he purred when he felt a warm hand reach over and caress his rosy cheek. "Yes, I'm here, baby. I'm staying with you, remember?"

And Jungkook did remember, his brain finally pushing away the dream fog and his senses came back; he was in his bedroom, sleeping with Taehyung, his mate who's been staying at their house in the Cat territory for about three weeks now. After Yoongi had proposed the idea of Jungkook staying back home for his pregnancy, Taehyung didn't hesitate to agree and join them. Although Taehyung has never been to the Cat territory before, let alone try, he would pass through any discomfort to be there for his mate.

He wanted to be there for Jungkook's pregnancy too, he desired to take care of his mate and make sure he was fed well and loved enough.

This time it was Taehyung who stayed inside all the time, it took a few days for Taehyung to actually settle down and relax in their house as his instincts were not used to being so close to a lot of Cat territory, but before he knew it, Taehyung was calm and enjoying himself, he loved Jungkook and was happy to be here every step of the way.

"Oh," Jungkook exhaled heavily, feeling the exhaustion and fear disappear quickly once he realized Taehyung was by his side. "Sorry, I had a weird dream."

Taehyung moved his hand from Jungkook's cheek to his back, rubbing it steadily. "I heard that might happen during pregnancies, don't worry, baby. They'll fade away."

"Thanks, Tae." Jungkook smiled, groaning at the relief Taehyung's strong hands did to his sore back. "Keep rubbing my back please."

Taehyung grinned, leaning over to press a kiss onto Jungkook's mated mark fondly. "The babies bothering you?"

"They weren't kicking last night, thank goodness." Jungkook mumbled, running his fingers down his round stomach that often bulged over his sweatpants. "But they're getting so heavy, we're gonna have a big litter, Tae."

Joy and delight sparked in Taehyung's eyes as he situated his body to lay his head on Jungkook's lap, staring at Jungkook's tummy with a loving smile on his lips. "I can't wait until they're born, love. Have our own litter experience the beauty of this world, oh my god, they're fingers are gonna be so small."
