Y/N's POV

"Y/n, wake up, you're late" My brother yelled in my ear as I shot up in bed, both of our heads clashing

"Ow" I said as I held my forehead

"That didn't go how I expected" My brother said rubbing his forehead

I got up out of bed, rubbing my eyes, moving my jaw around because my jaw was hurting from the punch Orochimaru gave me.

"I heard about your battles yesterday, Hiruzen-sama came to me before I went shopping for your stuff" Iori explained as he went through my drawer, picking out my outfit

"Yeah?" I asked, going into my bathroom, washing my face

"Yeah, he also told me that you won them, I'm proud of you, as always" I heard him say from my room

"Mm" I hummed as I brushed my teeth

"Tsunade, brought up mother I heard" He said as I came back into the room, looking at me with a tilted head

"Yeah, it made me mad" I said as I moisturized my face, grabbing my paddle brush to brush my hair out

"I know, mother means a lot to us, I'm glad you stood up for her, being as she isn't here anymore" Iori said as he took the brush from me, showing me how to brush out my hair properly

"Of course, I love mama" I said with a hum

"Good, now, get dressed, I'll walk you to training today" Iori said to as he left my room

I watched him leave before getting dressed, being late wasn't on my agenda but I was tired after yesterday.

Me and Iori walked hand in hand to the training area, in Iori's other hand he held my lunch, something he had made for me.

After arriving I realized it was just Jiraiya there, training in what looked to be meditation.

I thought back to what happened between us yesterday and blushed, my cheeks warming up on their own.

Jiraiya peeked one eye open, looking directly at me, almost like he had felt my presence there even with how quiet I was.

"Hey, y/n-chan, good morning" He said as he stood up, coming over to me

"G-good morning, Jiraiya-kun" I said shyly

"Hm" My brother said as he looked between the two of us

"Well, I'll be leaving now, take care of her, yeah?" My brother told Jiraiya as he handed me my lunch

"Yeah, I got it" Jiraiya said with a nod

"Good, be safe y/n, I'll pick you up later if you want" Iori said to me

"N-no, I'll walk home" I said, not wanting to take his time away, since he just got back from a mission

"Okay, see you then, love you" Iori said with a smile

"Love you too" I said, waving as he jumped away

"You never let me return this" Jiraiya said as I turned to face him, my head tilting to the side

"Return what?" I asked him in confusion

"This" He said as he leaned down, kissing my cheek like I had done him yesterday
