Y/N's POV

Me and Jiraiya haven't talked since it all happened, it seems like after the kiss he started avoiding me entirely.

And he was doing a damn good job at it, I haven't been able to catch him anywhere, and it was starting to get to me.

Maybe he actually didn't mean anything by the kiss, he probably just wanted me to shut up.

Or maybe he after he kissed me, he realized he had no true feelings for me at all.

Maybe I'm just back up in case Tsunade doesn't get with him.

I let out a sigh, getting out of bed, today is the day we'll be heading into war, and the first time I'll see Jiraiya since the kiss, which is, something.

But I have no choice but to get ready and go, we have a war to win.

We were now near the end of the battle, me being injured to prevent Jiraiya from getting injured.

In the end, I was successful at that, but that costed my energy and we were all exhausted from the battle.

The four of us standing in front of our opponent who stood atop a summon.

"I predict that the Hidden Leaf will emerge victorious from this battle, therefore, I'll let the four of you live" The man told us as he looked down on us, both metaphorically and physically

"Keep your sympathy, we could still fight you" Jiraiya yelled at the man

"No, Jiraiya, stop" Tsunade said to Jiraiya, whom she held up

I put pressure on my wound, hissing slightly, I was bleeding out but I wouldn't leave the battle without seeing it through.

"You four are very strong, you survived even this battleground and so I, Hanzo, hereby christen you four the Hidden Leaf Sannin in exchange for your lives, tell my your names" Hanzo said to us

But everything went black for me, the corners of my vision dimming until there was no light left, only dark.

I woke up with a groan, my wet clothing clinging to my body as my body hummed in pain, the cold air hitting it like bullets, making me shiver.

I went to sit up but was pushed back down by a pair of hands, my eyes fluttering open, meeting with Tsunade's.

"I healed your wound but it's best you give your body time to adjust to it, don't move around too much" Tsunade said to me as she stood up, going and sitting next to Jiraiya

"Will all this really end with the Hidden Leaf being victorious?, did Hanzo speak the truth?" Jiraiya asked to no one in particular

"If it does end that way, are you gonna leave on another journey?" Tsunade asked him, which made me tune into the conversation from where I laid on the ground, listening with closed eyes

"Well, maybe I will" Jiraiya said as he ate

"Set out on yet more travels and write another book" He said

"Why don't you just settle down in the village?" Tsunade asked him with what sounded like curiosity

"I feel as though I haven't quite found it yet" He said to her

"You mean your destiny, don't you?" She asked him

"Shh" Orochimaru whispered to them

The sound of thunder cracking filled the cave we were in.
