CH- 5 Betrayal

Ayaan Pov:

  You were too blind to see, i'm not lying to you, sofia lied to you and for so many months she played with you, she never really loved you Ayaan sir, you were just a stepping stone for her Mansi cried out. I was just struck listening to her words. DONT YOU DARE LIE MANSI, i yelled at her. Just because she is not in this world, no one can defame her nor any one can take advantage of the situation and cover up their own mistakes.

She loved some one else, she was planning to elope with him that night, this was all her plan, but it backfired against her. I wasn't waiting for you on that road, but some one else was. Do u want to know who that is Ayaan sir?  The one whom sofia loved, the one she wanted to run away with, the one who made her pregnant.

Pre... preg... Pregnant, my tongue tumbled, though i didn't want to believe her, some where i knew that Sofia was drifting away from me, i noticed her cold behavior towards me, but this is beyond my imagination, I was so shocked that i couldn't find words to say. I looked at Rohan, who was looking nervously at me. This bastard and  my parents hid the fact that sofia was pregnant.

We thought you would be devastated to know that you lost not only sofia, but also your baby boss, we thought it was your baby, although i know now that its not. Me and Alia, never had a intimate relationship, not beyond cuddling and foreplay, i respected her boundaries when she said she didn't want to exceed any further until our marriage. 

I gathered all my courage and asked mansi, who in hell is the father of the child?, Mansi now sat up she was looking weak and exhausted, rohan offered her water again and she gulped it down hurriedly. I will tell you everything i know and with proof's but in return you will let me and my family go Ayaan sir.

How dare you negotiate with me Mansi, you are in no position to state any terms. Ayaan sir, im just looking out for myself and my family, i will give you whatever you want, but instead i just need safety and never to be in contact again. Well, she's a smart girl, but little did she know, she can never escape me until i reach the root of everything.

Go on i said, Rohan brought the post mortem report, and it was clearly written that sofia was 6 weeks pregnant. I had to clench my teeth and control my anger in order to not shout and break everything, thats in the room right now. Now, tell the fuck up who is that scoundrel. You know him Ayaan sir, just spit it out Mansi, don't make me use any other method now.

Its Sagar, your cousin Mr.Ayaan, she loved sagar from the very start of your relationship, she came into relationship with you, just because sagar told her to do so.  Sagar manipulated her into manipulating you, even though he loved her, he always wanted what you have. Sofia hesitated at first, but as you trusted her blindly, she started taking enjoyment in fooling you. She, sagar and also her brother were involved in this. 

Her brother wanted to go abroad and wanted her to get money from you, but this was taking a toll on her always taking money from you, she wanted to do something big, so she and sagar planned to get the house and shares of your company. She made a contract where she stated the terms and conditions, that in case you die, all your property will be her's.

And she succeeded, you blindly signed away the papers, which she presented in front of you saying its for her scholarship and she wanted a recommendation letter from an influential person, which will help her career, you didn't even bother to even read the documents atleast once and signed away your whole property.

Now next step was to kill you. She deliberately took you to that road will false information, saying i was there, although i was never the part of her plan, i was always a silent watcher. Many times i wanted to tell the truth but sagar always threatened me and my family. Even though he is not as powerful as your family, but still he has some influence which was enough to ruin us. Sagar was waiting for you on that road and the truck was already planned for hit and run, they thought as that area was prone to accidents and many hit and run cases were filed there before, they could escape.

But destiny had its own plans, the truck driver turned out to be drunk, sofia was supposed to get out of the car before the hit, sagar would have given her the signal and she was supposed to make an excuse and get out, but as the driver was drunk even before sagar gave her any signal, he hit the car, which in turn caused sofia's death.

She is the one responsible for her own death, neither me , nor you. I have no idea where sagar is, and every word which i said is the truth, i have few recordings of their conversation to prove. After hearing the recordings from mansi, i had no one to blame but myself, i was so in love with her that i ignored everything she did, if i could get one chance, i would make her suffer twice she made me suffer and Sagar, he and his family are going to bear the consequences.

With every proof my heart just sank, the girl whome i loved so whole heartedly never even loved me, she conspired against me and tried to kill me. I would have given her the whole world, if only she could have understood me. But know, love is something omnious to me, never in my life again love would enter and if i could turn the time around, i would make sofia die a miserable and torturous death.
