Aaira: "Obsession fades with time, Jimin. I waited three years for you in hope that you would notice me too someday."

As Aaira uttered those words, Jimin found himself rooted to the spot, grappling with the weight of her confession. He searched for the right response, but words failed him, leaving only an uncomfortable silence lingering in the air. Aaira's hopeful gaze bore into him, anticipating a meaningful reply, yet none came. With a resigned chuckle, she turned away, leaving Jimin standing there, his thoughts in turmoil.

Inwardly torn between the desire to stop her and the reluctance to do so, Jimin remained motionless as Aaira made her exit. The room fell into a heavy silence, echoing the unresolved tension between them.

Aaira, consumed by a whirlwind of emotions, left Jimin's place and hailed a taxi, as she didn't have her car with her. Tears flowed down her cheeks as she sat in the backseat, ignoring Jungkook's persistent calls. The taxi driver glanced at her, startled by her tears, but remained silent as he drove her home. Finally reaching her destination, Aaira sought refuge in her house, where her emotions overwhelmed her, spilling out in a torrent of tears.

Throughout the day, Aaira found herself engulfed in a sea of tears, her heart heavy with thoughts of Jimin. Ignoring the persistent calls and messages from everyone, she remained lost in her own world of anguish. When she finally glanced at her phone, she was startled to see over 15 missed calls and more than 25 messages from her boss, "Jerk Jeon." Realizing it was already 10:30 pm, she felt a pang of worry, knowing that Jungkook never contacted her multiple times unless it was urgent.

With a sense of urgency, Aaira dialed Jungkook's number, her heart racing with apprehension. As he answered the call, she could sense his frustration seeping through the phone.

Jerk Jeon:
"Aaira, where the hell have you been? I've been trying to reach you all day!"

Aaira:
"I'm sorry, Jungkook. I didn't realize you were calling. Is everything okay?"

Jerk Jeon:
"Okay? Okay?! Do you have any idea how many times I've tried to reach you? We have an urgent file for tomorrow's meeting, and I need it ASAP!"

Aaira's heart sank at Jungkook's tone, but she remained composed, apologizing profusely.

Aaira:
"I'm really sorry, Jungkook. I'll send you the file right away. Just give me a moment."

Before she could explain further, Jungkook's anger boiled over, and he abruptly cut the call, leaving Aaira feeling unsettled and guilty. She quickly retrieved the file and sent it to Jungkook, hoping to rectify her mistake, but the weight of his anger lingered heavily on her conscience.
As Aaira finally mustered the courage to check her phone, she felt a pang of apprehension wash over her. Her heart sank as she scrolled through her messages and saw a series of missed texts from Jungkook. His messages were filled with urgency and concern, a stark contrast to the frustration in his calls.
