Kumagawa together with Ainz and Albedo were still using the mirror to see the reactions of the lizardmen to the revelations of their impending doom. Ainz sat calmly on his chair with Albedo standing on his right, while Kumagawa was leaning over the table with the excitment of a child.

Kumagawa:[They're sure quick to act, they're already having an meeting.]

Ainz:Humu, perhaps they have a higher intelligence than what we have previously gave them credit for.

Inside a cottage the ones present to the meeting were those who had a higher authority in the in the clan. Shasuryu, being the leader, the Head Priest and Head Warrior, together with Zaryusu as an invitee, were a few examples.

The Head Priest had presented his concerns because of the change in weather. After all, the only speels of controlling wheter they knew of were Tier 4 Control Weather and Tier 2 Control Cloud, and the Priest himself was limited to Tier 2 magic.

The Head Priest went on to present that if it was truly Control Weather, than they'd all get slaughtered. At this, the Head Warrior raised his objections.

Head Warrior:So you're telling us to run away without even fighting!?

Head Priest:All of you blood thirsty meatheads are just...Is there anything going on in your head?

Shasuryu:Control yourselves. Head Hunter, tell us what you think?

Head Hunter:...How mucg time do we have? After taking a look at them we can decide what to do.

Zaryusu:Head Chiefe...Can I say something?

As Zaryusu asked his brother that multiple protest were raised. However, Shasuryu quickly shut them down.

Shasuryu:Head Priest, Head Warrior, Head Hunter, do you think he's worth hearing?

Head Warrior: Zaryusu is no doubt worth hearing. No warrior would ignore the words if the one weilding Frost Bane.

Kumagawa:[Eh? So that thing is a Magic Item? By the sound of it, it must have a freezing effect. Than there'd be no match for Cocytus-chan. Well, if we're talking about direct combat, that is...]

Albedo:But that's not what Cocytus is tested for.

Ainz:Indeed, I have no doubt about Cocytus's individual strenght. But he's also a general.

Kumagawa:[They're taking a lot of time to come to a decision. Want me to motivate them?]

Ainz:There's no way I'd believe there would be anyone left if you go there.

Kumagawa:[Caught in an instant, huh...]

Albedo rolled her eyes at Kumagawa's clear intent. No one that spend some time with him would believe otherwise.

Kumagawa:[But the fact that priests character need to be this old and lethargic type of guy is really such a cliche. At least Shounen Jump began to walk away from this trope as of late.]

Ainz:Oh, uh, yeah...

Moments like those reminded Ainz of something he tends to forget. Kumagawa really was a tennager.

Or at least close to being a teenager. He didn't know his exact age, but he guessed it must be along that age gap.

He recruited a very dangerous threat as a dependable ally, is what it should've felt like. But it felt more like he adopted a troublesome child.

Zaryusu convinced the clan to let him negociate with the other clans for an alliance. By that point, they felt it was no more worth watching.

Kumagawa:[I get that I can't get in contact with them, but can I at least go see how the preparations on our part are going? Getting stuck here all day is really boring.]
