As ever, I'd like to kick this bit off by thanking everyone for reading and enjoying these books. I'd also like to thank you all for your patience while I write them and for the constant words of praise. What to say about this book?
Okay, I'll start by saying some parts are a little darker than others but not terribly so. I have wrote it ever so slightly differently to the other ones, although I'm not going to say how because I'm not sure how noticeable it is, but there's a switch when Ronan becomes a bit more, well, y'know...
As ever, I'll say a few brief words on the recommended reading order of the series:
1. Lorcan & Evette: In which the big bad wolf poses as Grandma in the wrong witch's tourist shop.
2. Reign of Blood: In which the kennels run out of room, so the witches offer up their cells.
3. Nazreen: In which the Other World hits a stock shortage on blood, so vampire veganism is so in.
4. Eros: In which it's normal to hump your imaginary friends.
5. Angel of the Lake: In which the demons win their spot in the heavens.
6. Blood Sport: In which your Father is also your girlfriend.
7. Moral Compass: In which it's totally normal to speak to a room full of Peruvian rocks because they're immortals too.
8. Sticks and Stones: In which a lack of clear communication wastes years of what should be hot demon-huntress sex.
9. Kyra: In which a God gets schooled by a rebellious troublemaker.
10. Ronan: In which....
Also, I'm more than likely going to repeat this point at the end of the book with my other usual announcement, but I'm going to be doing some edits on the other books in the series. Lorcan & Evette has been fully edited recently, so if you're not aware of this already, it has an extra chapter towards the end.
I can, with certainty, say that the following books will eventually definitely have extra chapters:
- Angel of the Lake.
-Moral Compass.
-Sticks and Stones.
Not to worry! If any chapters are added in any of the books, I'll make an announcement about it on my conversations board.
And now before I can ramble any further- Ronan!
