I woke up in his arms and my breath hitched at our closeness. I freed myself and looked at the clock. Shit! I am going to be late. I showered and came out. I saw him getting ready in a hurry too. I wanted to brush my hair but this tall crocodile is blocking the mirror.
"Get aside. I am getting late." I said tiptoeing but failing badly. He ignored my words. This pig. He already brushed his hair can't he get aside now.
"Will you now get aside after doing a kaala teeka(black dot to save from evil eyes)?" I said and he gave me a fake smile.
"Now your height is small then it's not my fault." He said still not getting aside.
"Haww. In school I used to stand last when told to stand height-wise." I said highlighting and he scoffed.
"Off course because after 3 standard you stopped drinking complan." He said and I hit his arm.
"What? My height is not small it's you who is a Hulk. I can't even peek." I said and he sarcastically laughed.
"Go and drink complan." He said finally getting aside and I glared at him.
"How is your health now?" He asked and I didn't answered so he checked my temperature.
"After breakfast take medicine then leave." He said going out.I packed my stuff too and went downstairs.
"How is your health now?" Maa said walking towards me touching my face to check the temperature.
"I am fine now maa." I said and she kissed my forehead smiling.
"You fainted and woke up midnight. I was so scared. Why didn't you told me you were not feeling well?" Maa said twisting my ear and I hissed.
"I myself didn't knew." I said and she kissed my cheek.Bhabhi pulled chair for me smiling and I sat on chair.
"I made a light but healthy breakfast for you especially. You didn't ate anything after yesterday's breakfast at all." Maa said serving me.
There was omelette and herb rice with salad. I took a bite .It was tasty and not sour at all. I ate my breakfast and Vijay dropped me to college. I entered and Suman asked if I did homework. I nodded. I was about to take my notebook out to show her and realised I forgot my book.
"What?" She asked and I pouted sadly.
"I forgot my book home." I said and she smacked my head.
"Those who don't show homework will be punished. There is still few minutes before lecture. Let's go and fetch it." She said walking towards her scooter.
I followed her and she dropped me home . She was waiting outside for me. I came inside and met with silence. I saw bhabhi and she frowned at me.
"No lectures?" She asked and I shook my head as no.
"I do have but I forgot my homework so I came to fetch it. Where is everyone?"
"Actually Maa is out with her friends. Papa went to office and dadu is in his room." She said and I made an 'o' face.
I ran upstairs and fetched my book running downstairs. I was about to leave but I heard something crashing. I looked behind and vase broke. Bhabhi was clutching her kurti and her other hand was on sofa's head. I ran towards her and she was trying to keep her eyes open. I made her sit on sofa and called doctor. I also called Raj bhai but he didn't pick up the call so I called Vijay and he picked it up.
"What is it ? Missing me already?" He asked in teasing way.
"My bad days haven't arrived that I will miss you. Bhabhi is sick. Come home immediately." I said and cut the call.
