Anamika~
I am staying at old villa with Samara taking care of me. Veeranshu keeps visiting me too. Maa is still not stable. She opened her eyes but is still weak. I want to meet her once but I know I can't. She opened her eyes for few minutes then again fell asleep in slumber. Doctor said She is feeling sleepy and is refusing to open her eyes but she will be stable in 1-2 days. Vijay will be back today. He got to know about accident and is in hospital right now to meet maa. He will be here soon. I was decorating lawn and Veeranshu is helping me. We were done after 20 minutes. With his help it happened nicely. We were sitting on sofa taking a breather.
"You love Vijay?" He asked and I nodded smiling.
He stood up and went out without saying anything. I didn't stopped him too. After 10 mins he came back. He didn't looked stable. Did he drink alcohol?
"You drank again?" I asked covering my nose.
"Why do you care?" He said and handed me the flowers I booked for Vijay.
"Watch your steps." I said when I saw he will stumble. I made him sit on sofa. I made a lime water for him and gave it to him. He looked up and pulled me on sofa and hovered above me.
"What are you doing Veer?" I shouted at him and he just traced my cheeks.
"You moved on when you loved me to the extent of even slicing your wrist. You .....Why didn't you gave me a second chance?" He said with few tears rolling down and I pushed him. He pulled me again. He grabbed my arms and I wiggled.
"You are drunk. Leave me ." I shouted and Samara came running towards us. He glared at her and she paused on her steps. He licked my right neck and bit it. Tears rolled from my eyes too at his such behaviour. He is always a calm person. Is he still not able to move on?
"Stop it Veeranshu." I shouted and slapped him. He cupped my neck trying not to put pressure and leaned in. I wiggled. My tears kept flowing.
"Please." I breathed and he stopped. His eyes shifted from my lips to my eyes. His head dropped to my shoulder and I heard him sobbing.
"Why? Why can't you see my love for you? Am I that bad? Am I that untrustworthy? Am I meant to be tossed aside once used?" He sobbed and I know what he is talking about?
He is hurt, very hurt. His father pampered him until his mother was alive. His mother loved him but when she saw he looks alike his father as he is growing up. She pushed him away. His father neglected him once his mother died. His step-mother was jealous but tried to love him. But she only hurt him further. He got to know the truth about the toxic relationship of his father and mother by his step-mother. She called him defected and unloved child when she gave birth to a daughter.
He stood up and whispered sorry. He held his eyes since his hair poked his eyes. I extended my hand to help him. I know he is not a bad boy. He is very sweet and kind. I helped him and heard something falling. I turned and saw Vijay. I smiled and ran towards him. I hugged him happily but he didn't hugged me back. I frowned and parted only to met his burning gaze on Veeranshu. Did he misunderstood us? He finally looked at me and clenched his fist. He pushed my hair back and traced my right side of neck. He held my hand and dragged me upstairs. Anger was visible in his eyes. Once we were inside the room he locked the room and pinned me to wall.
"Having fun with your boyfriend when your husband is away?" He said and I felt hurt. He didn't even asked me and is just blaming me.
"He is just my friend. You are misunderstanding...." I said and he cut me off in middle.
"What am I misunderstanding? Your relationship with your 'FRIEND' or the hickey given by your just friend?" He said gritting his teeth and I frowned. I touched my neck and he backed off. Mirror was behind him and I saw the hickey. It must have happened when he lost his control due to drinking.
