Anamika Lost Her Memory

Vijay~

I hurried to hospital and saw her head bleeding. I saw Veeranshu just looking at her as his soul left his body. He was frozen while doctor took her in operation theatre.

"How did this happen?" I fisted his collar and he looked at me without any expressions. He went numb.

"She didn't saw truck coming. The other truck hit her." He said and a lone tear slipped his eyes. I left his collar with a jerk. This is not the time to fight. He fell on his knees and took his head in his palms. He is wrapped in blood. Doctor came out after an hour.

"She may have a memory loss. It happens in such cases since her head is bleeding a lot. But there are very less chances of memory loss." Doctor said.

"How much chances? How much will she loose?" I asked.

"Recent memories and chances are minimal." He said and walked out.

Raj bhai,Akshita bhabhi came too. Roohani is taking care of baby. Maa has been discharged too.

"How did this happen?" Raj bhai said and glared in Veeranshu's way.

"She was lost in her thoughts and didn't see the truck coming." Veeranshu spoke and bhabhi patted his shoulder. He looked at her and his tears were visible now.

"Veeranshu stay strong. It was just an accident." She said rubbing his back.

"I didn't wanted to be a villain of her life. I swear I didn't Akshita." He said in his cracking voice.

"I know you love her but you have to move on. Stop obsessing over her now. She is married to Vijay and only wants to work on her marriage. She loves Vijay." Bhabhi said and he averted his eyes nodding slowly.

"How is she?" Bhai asked and I told him the possibility doctor informed just a minute ago.

After 6 hours, Doctor walked inside with nurse. He came out back and smiled at us.

"She has regained consciousness." He informed and we all ran inside.

She looked here and there frowning. She looked at Veeranshu and smiled at him. His face lit up a little. I hate this though.

"Why am I here? Did Bhai came back?" She said weakly and we all frowned.

"Which Bhai?" I asked and she frowned at me.

"My brother. Yuvraj Chopra. Do you perhaps have a short term memory loss?" She said clicking her tongue. Even while lying on hospital bed this girl can't give answers nicely. Her and her sarcastic self. Uff....

"What is the last memory you have Mrs.Kashyap?" Doctor asked her and she looked at him confused.

"I am not married and I am not Mrs. Kashyap. I am Anamika Chopra. Ignore the surname though." She said and I felt my chest tightening. Did she really forget that she married me?

"If I will ever get married I will marry my boyfriend Veeranshu Rathore. I wanted Bhai to know about our relationship first but I won't tolerate me called with wrong surname." She said glaring at doctor. She forgot she loved me. Raj bhai held my shoulder. I nodded at him blinking my eyes repeatedly so the tears that collected in my eyes could disappear.

"Oh I am sorry. What is the last memory you have?" Doctor asked.

"Bhai called me and said he will be back today. But how did I got hurt? Why am I here?" She asked and Veeranshu strided towards her.

"Anu you are married to Vijay. Try to remember and Yuvraj is dead already." Veeranshu said and I was shocked that he is saying this himself.

"Stop talking nonsense. How could that happen? Bhai is not dead and how can I get married to Vijay? I........" She said panicking and her heartbeats raised. Veeranshu was about to hold her hand but I held her hand.  He fisted his hand and took it back. She was breathing heavily with tears flowing from her eyes and doctor told us to leave.
