A Step Forward

It's been 2 days since Anamika is getting tutors from Vijay and Veeranshu. Today Suman, Diksha and Ankita came to visit Anamika. All four girls and Veeranshu were in Anamika's room studying and talking at the same time.

''Anu, What about project? '' Ankita asked while writing the assignment.

'' I haven't thought yet. Why? '' Anamika said dumbfounded.

'' Haven't thought yet? '' Ankita almost yelled making Veeranshu jolt a little at sudden arousal of her voice.

'' Girl with god's grace we have two proper-working ears which fantastically works. '' Veeranshu exclaimed making Ankita realise she almost shouted.

'' Oh sorry senior and girlies. '' She passed apologetic smile.

'' Don't call me senior when we are not in college. I have a name. '' Veeranshu said again focusing on his works while Anamika , Suman and Diksha exchanged teasing glances when they saw Ankita blushing as he asked her to call him by his name. They know she has crush on Veeranshu.

'' Whatever. '' Ankita whispered and turned to Anamika again.

'' We have to present the project. Suman and Diksha are pairing. They involved Ranveer Diksha's elder brother too in it. Only we both are left. Even seni'' She was about to say senior but glanced at Veeranshu who was already expecting her to speak further with his warning eyes. She gulped and turned correcting her sentence.

'' I mean Veeranshu or any of our seniors can't help since they have their own projects to deal with. Who will be third person in our plan then? '' Ankita completed and took a quick glance at Veeranshu. He had a satisfied smile and again focused on his work.

'' Who is the opponent team? '' Anamika asked and Ankita pointed at Suman and Diksha.

'' I have someone who can help. Let's see what it takes to convince him. '' Anamika said smirking and Ankita gulped at the evil mind her friend has.

'' Is it Vijay? '' Ankita asked and Anamika nodded smiling widely.

'' Fine everyone complete your assignments and Anu message me if you have any problems or doubts about studies. I may not be able to take calls so text me. I will get back to you. I am leaving . Bye. '' Veeranshu said picking his stuff and left waving a bye with most charming smile.

Ankita had a sheepish smile on her face and Anamika elbowed her to land her out of her fantasy world.

'' He left. '' Diksha said patting her shoulder with a teasing smile and she was a red tomato.

'' Shut it girls. It's just a crush. He loves someone else. I hope he gets her. '' She said with a sad smile and Suman as well as Anamika exchanged glances.

'' Do you know who is she? '' Anamika asked anticipating she will say no.

'' No. I just saw him saying that I still love you why can't you forgive me. I left after hearing that. It's his privacy. I can't invade it. Anyways when are you getting our another teammate. '' Ankita said changing the topic.

''Right now. '' Anamika said and stood up from bed making her way towards Vijay's room.

Girls followed her behind. Anamika entered his room when she heard a come in. She saw his shirt buttons undoned and she gulped nervously admiring his features.

'' Why does he looks charming to me? He is the same without tail dinosaur. '' She thought and he cleared his throat making her come out of her thoughts.

'' I know I am handsome. Stop eyeraping me. '' He said turning to his closet.

'' My eyes would rather become blind than eyeraping you. '' She scoffed.
