Is anyone here artistic? I would love someone to draw some pictures for this story. Sadly I have no artistic talent (┬┬﹏┬┬)
(Day 46)
"It's sad we missed going to the auction, we'll have to go to the next one." Lance says, Steven humming in agreement.
"It would be good to get Lucryn some armor considering his reckless behavior." Lance says, giving Lucryn a pointed look. Lucryn doesn't even glance in Lance's direction, but he can feel the look piercing his side. As soon as they had returned, he had to listen to a very long lecture from Steven, the man being very verbal and expressive in his distaste for Lucryn's recklessness.
Cye sits on the table beside Lucryn, happily chomping away at some poke food, watching the three interact.
Cye: heehee, the little devil is in trouble, serves you right.
The little one giggles, sticking his tongue out at Lucryn, hurriedly going back to eating when Lucryn casts him a glance.
Lucryn: behave
Cye takes another bite of poke food, looking very obedient.
Lucryn: Your training begins once this meal ends.
Cye almost chokes on his food, coughing, gazing at Lucryn with unhappy eyes.
Cye: little devil you bully!
Lucryn ignores the little one, focusing on Steven who calls him. "Lucryn, there'll be someone coming over later today to register your contracted pokemon. Remember that in the future if you receive any new contracted pokemon they need to be formally registered within a month of contracting them or you'll face some charges. It's being overlooked this once due to your situation."
Lucryn nods to show he heard, but a small frown mars his features at the thought of someone coming to learn about his pokemon. Cye curiously tugs at his sleeve, asking,
Cye: What does it mean for them to register us into the system?
Lucryn ponders that, shrugging a moment later, Cye pouting. Lance pulls the two from their conversation, saying, "You can't hide any of your pokemon, doing so will cause big problems down the road if it's found out. You should go gather your pokemon, they need to be present during registration at noon."
Lucryn nods, putting down his fork, standing, his chair making a noise as it scrapes against the ground. "Finish eating first." Steven states, glancing at Lucryn's plate, frowning when he notes Lucryn ate very little.
Lucryn doesn't respond, picking up Cye who cutely waves bye to Lance and Steven. "Oh, and Lucryn, Machamp will accompany you."
Lucryn's steps momentarily slow, but he doesn't stop or turn around. Walking outside, he notes Machamp standing there. Machamp stands from his meditative position, walking after Lucryn, the ground trembling a tad from Machamps steps. Lucryn pauses at the edge of the woods, tilting his head back to cast Machamp a small smirk.
Machamp blankly looks at the tiny human, blinking as the human suddenly jumps into the trees, moving swiftly and nimbly. Machamp follows the human from below, having to keep his eyes locked on the human child who constantly changes directions. The human child's eyes would meet his every little bit, a glint in those eyes, Machamp almost felt like the child is playing a game with him. Maybe babysitting could be a bit fun, this is turning into a pretty fun workout.
The child comes to a slow only after about an hour of running in circles through the woods, leaping from trees and racing along the forest ground. Machamp stops next to the child, easily looking like he could go another hundred rounds, the child panting, hand clutching his chest as he tries to catch his breath. Machamp frowns, wondering if he should contact Lance, the child seems to be in pain as he stands there.
