Barry woke up with a happy smile on his face, remembering his date with Chloe Summers. Barry began to make breakfast for himself when his phone went off only to see it was Harry saying he was away to see Jessie. Barry just said that was ok. While Barry was back making food again his door knocked. Barry flipped the pancakes before going over to open the door to see it was Iris "What you want" he asked "Look I know I messed up but please take me back" said Iris and Barry scoffed. "No I am good more happier without you so why would I want to be with you plus I have a girlfriend now so please leave" Barry said "You may have her now but come on Barry you hurt everyone close to you" Iris says with a grin before leaving. Once Barry closed the door his mood changed and he began to get upset. Barry went and ate his pancakes but he did not feel anything.
Barry walked to the front door and brought his I.D. out and placed it in the scanner before the door opened and as Barry walked through when he heard his name and turned to see Chloe walking near him. "Hey" she smiled "Um hey you ok" he asked her smile faded as she looked at Barry "The question is are you ok" she asked. "Yeah I am" he gives her a fake smile but even after only going on one date and talking and hanging out for good months she can tell he lying. Once they entered the work building "I am going underground to see Cisco and Caitlin before we fully get to work" Barry tells her and she nods and kisses his cheek and walks to her work lab. Once the elevator dings he exits it and heads to the cortex "Morning Barry how was your date" asked Caitlin "it was great but I might end it before it becomes serious" Barry stated sadly but Caitlin and Cisco looked at him. "Why thought you liked her" asked Cisco and Barry nodded "and that's the problem" Barry whispered.
"Barry" said Caitlin and Barry looked at her in tears "I tried to stay strong since I came back from speed force I was happy but guess what I was happy this morning then I had to open my door because someone was there knocking" Barry said but his friends looked confused. "It was Bitch Iris I was really happy without her then she says she messed up and wants me back but I said no as I was happier without her and have a girlfriend now but then what she said hurt me really badly how right she was" Barry said and dried his eyes. "What did she say Barry" asked Caitlin "how everyone close to me get hurt so only a matter of time before Chloe gets hurt and I don't want that because she's right I hurt both of you Joe Wally everyone my parents" Barry began to feel like he couldn't breath closing his eyes holding his chest. Caitlin went to him and controlled him telling him to slow down and breathe in and then out.
Barry thanked her "I am gonna be in my office now to work on my projects" Barry said drying his eyes and sighing "Sorry" he said and left the cortex. "I will tell Chloe because knowing Barry he just push her away beside Barry was happy why can't that bitch not stay out of Barry's life" said Caitlin and Cisco laughed and agreed. "Yeah I need to work on things to that Harry away to his earth for a while" Cisco stated and left along with Caitlin from Cortex.
Once Caitlin was near Chloe's lab she knocked on the door "Come in" she said and Caitlin did "Good morning Caitlin" said Chloe but she did not seem happy. "Morning but it's not good is it" she asked and Chloe sighed "Barry is acting like he doesn't like me anymore like last night was a mistake" said Chloe on the verge of tears "You really like him don't you" asked Caitlin. Chloe just nods gently.
