Good Byes

Leave Tennessee forever? Why would she even ask such a question? "Well I mean you can come and visit but,..." Her voice trailed of. Now I'm mad. No, I'm beyond mad. Without thinking I blurt out, "My whole life is here. Don't you see I can't leave. I can't leave my friends, the animals in the barn think about Flash what about him, I can't leave my school, and I definitely can't leave my family. I mean who would I stay with. No one I know lives in California."
"Maddie your father and sister live there." She said sounding disappointed in me.
This gets me even more mad. "Well I barely know them they might as well be complete strangers." I was almost yelling now. That got her so mad she left the table and looked out the window. I was done with her. I got up and ran to the barn. We only have horses in my barn, but my grandpa has 5 pigs, 7 chickens, and 2 horses at his house.
When I get to the barn I find Flash there waiting for me (Flash is my horse). "Hey girl how you doing." I say mostly to my self. I walk over to Mixed Eye she has one dark brown eye and one light blue eye. She was also my moms favorite. Then there is Rocket he's the fastest horse we have. After Rock there is Sneezy he sneezed on my friend ,Lilly, the first day we got her. And last but not least there is Na Na I was little when we got him so I called her Na Na and the name stood. I don't even know her real name.
I am usual not aloud to ride Rocket, but today I will. I take him to the stream he likes to kick the water up at me when he walks. This makes me laugh and gets me wet. We go to the tree and but a wild flower on her grave stone.
After about 1 and a half of feeding and riding Flash I walk home. I go up to my room I grab my phone and text Lilly.
Me: Hey what's up
Lilly: Nothin, do u want to go to the mall
Me: Maybe latter I need to talk to u and Em alone
Lilly: I'll text Em should we go to the fort
Me: Yes
Lilly and Emma are my best friends. The day me and Lilly met she just moved in and our parents thought we should be friends both of us hated the idea of it. So I took her to the creek I take the horses to since we both live close to it. But we had a blast! We went so far down the creek we found a tree house over the water. No one ever came to claim it or say it we can't go there any more so now it's our fort.
Em moved to my neighborhood two years ago. At first we didn't want any one else to know about it but, Emma became our best friend.
I'm the first one there so I start planing what I'm going to say. Em and Lilly show up 2 minutes later. "So...why are we here?" Em asked.
I answer,"Well...I have to tell y'all something. So sit down and get comfy." They both sit down while looking surprised. "You both know how I have a sister and dad in California, right?" I pause for their response. They just nodded yes. "Well nothing's for sure or any thing but.....I might be..um...moving to um California." I stutter.
"What?!?! You can't leave! No I won't let you!" Lilly screamed. We all just sat there for a few minutes. It felt like years before Em said, "What do we do now? What are me and Lilly going to do without you?" I look over to see her crying. She really care about me that much?
Then I look at Lilly she is crying too. This makes me cry. I can't leave them. I always hated good byes. Movies like that made me cry. Now it's happening in real life I hope it ends like the movies do, that everything that happened is for the best.
