Kai's pov

The light comes in through the window and keeps bothering me until I wake up, I look around, Soobin's room is really nice and spacious, mine is almost half the size!
I try to get up but I feel blocked, Soobin continues to hold me close while he is still asleep... I must admit that he is really handsome, he has very defined lines and soft cheeks, those lips would make any girl envious... I think I start feeling something for him... I don't know... He's definitely a golden boy.
I stroke his hair and he holds me even tighter putting his head on my chest, I continue stroking his hair, waiting for him to wake up.

At a certain point the sun starts to bother him too and I smile when I see him wrinkle his nose.
"Good morning hyung! Did you sleep well?" I ask him nonchalantly.
"K-kai?" He looks at me confused.
"Yes, I've been here since last night" I say smiling.
"I thought you already left, don't you have school? What time is it?" He asks me.
"Today is Saturday Binnie! I don't go to school on Saturdays and anyway it's 10 a.m." I tell him.
"Ah... Oh fuck! I didn't even realize I was hugging you! Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable! Sorry" He says all embarrassed, pulling away from me.
"No, don't worry, I was actually very comfortable attached to you!" I say jokingly.
"Oh yeah? How are you? You didn't catch a cold, did you?" He asks, sitting next to me.
"I'm fine, thanks for last night, you made my day and thank you for keeping me warm" I tell him.
"Of course, shall we go eat breakfast?" He asks me.
"Yes, I'm going to get ready, today's on me" I say getting out of bed and going to the bathroom.
"No! I'll pay" He insists.
"No, I've bothered you enough, I'll pay" I say from the bathroom.
"No!" And so we start arguing about who will pay for breakfast, for all the time it takes us to get ready and go out to the café.

"Come on Kai, I'll pay! I don't want to burden your wallet!" He begs me as we enter the bar.
"No! Don't even talk about it, I've already disturbed you enough between yesterday and today, I'll pay, I have to repay you" I say approaching the counter "What do you take?" I ask him.
"Cappuccino and cream croissant" He says.
"Okay, one latte, one cappuccino and two croissants, one chocolate and one cream" I order the waitress giving my prepaid card.
"No Ka!" He tries to interrupt me.
"Shh" I shush him.
"It's twelve pounds!" Says the waitress.
I pay and we sit at a table in a private spot.
"Thanks" Soobin says.
"Nothing! So, you have a brother right?" I ask him, thinking about it we know very little about each other, we only know our favorite animes, that he is rich and famous and that he has two friends.
"Actually, a brother and a sister, they are both much older than me, my sister recently got married and works for foreign relations in the company, while my brother is the CEO of the company with my father, I'm the next one to join either as CEO or as sales manager" He quickly explains to me "But you have two sisters!"
"Yes, one older and one younger, Lea, the older one, is your age and has just debuted in a group, while my younger sister is still in middle school... And I study languages and music, following the footsteps of my dad, he was a musician and now he travels around the world to teach music and English to children" I explain.
Then our orders arrive, we both say thank you to the waiter and we start eating.
"I guess you don't see your father often" Soobin guesses.
"Yeah, we still try to talk every day, even though... I've been a little scared lately, my dad's residence permit in Korea is almost over and his assignment won't end until next year, so I'm afraid I won't to be able to see him again except during the summer... I hope the situation will be resolved, I love my dad" I say while my voice trembles.
"You have no idea how sorry I am, I really hope your father gets the permission again" He says sincerely sorry, pouting.
"Anyway, where do you live? I'm in Seoul" I ask.
"Me too, but I was born just outside, in Ansan, what about you? Were you born in Korea or...?" He asks me.
"You'll like this one! So my older sister was born in Texas during the Christmas holidays, now she managed to obtain citizenship, Hiyyih was born in Korea and I was born in Hawaii" I say briefly, while he listens he continues to eat, it seems a bunny in how he eats! So cute!
"Wow! Around the world really! Hawaii, cool! Wait when is your birthday? Mine is December fifth"
"August fourtheenth, summer boy! That's what my uncle calls me" I reply "Hey... Sea or mountains?" I ask him.
"Sea! Of course! You?"
"Me too, sea! Sweet or savory?"
"Sweet all my life! I love bread!" He confesses.
"Me too! But I don't have preferences, I like both sweet and savory things... Favorite color?" I ask him.
"Sky blue and yellow, yours?"
"Turquoise, mint, sky blue and black" I reply "Do you like Marvels?" I ask him.
"Of course! For the Guardians of the Galaxy I like Rocket, for the Avengers: Spider-man, Wanda and Thor, finally for the X men: Mystica"
"Nice characters! I like Groot and Mantis, Ant-man, Spider-man and Captain America and for the X-men Jean and Quicksilver" I say.
"What a coincidence! We both like the Maximoff twins!" Soobin exclaims.
"That's right! Cool!" I say happily, after breakfast we go back to Soobin's apartment and I grab my things, on the way down I check my pockets.
"Oh... I forgot my phone" I say not finding it, he starts laughing.
"So cute! I see I'm not the only one who forgets things behind himself! Where did you leave it?" He asks me.
"On your bed" I reply a little embarrassed.
"Okay, wait here, I'll be right back!" He says coming back into the house and giving me the phone back, after that we walk towards the college.

Once we arrive we wait a bit in front of the gate, Soobin returns to Korea tomorrow while I will stay here for a while longer.
"Well it was nice meeting you Soobin... You're a really good friend, I'll miss you... You made my days" I greet him reluctantly.
"It was wonderful for me to meet you too Kai, you are the best friend I have ever had, you also made my holiday better, everything was wonderful thanks to you... Good luck with my studies... I will miss you too" We hug and stay together for a while, then we break away.
"I hope to see you again Soobin, bye, take care" I say.
"Take care of you too Kai and remember your umbrella when you go out! Bye" We smile at the joke, then very forcefully I enter the dorm, I throw the bag somewhere and I lie down on one of the two beds.
"I already miss you Soobin" I say starting to cry knowing that it will be almost impossible to see him again and remembering all the moments together.

Soobin's pov

I'm on my way home when something very important comes to mind.
"I didn't ask for his number! Fuck!" I say running back, but by the time I get to the gate he's already gone.
I sigh in defeat "We'll meet again Kai, I promise!" I say determined, I'm sorry that he is so lonely, he is a very nice boy with a heart of gold, I really hope that he manages to make some friends.
I head to my apartment with my head down, I walk in and two of the guys are sitting in the living room.
"Hey Soobin! Why the long face?" Asks the older.
"Did the poor guy steal all your money?" The other sneers.
"You should have expected it Soobin, don't go crying to daddy and mummy! They've already disinherited you, homeless man!" The older one laughs.
"He didn't steal a dime from me and anyway you're the shits not him! He's an angel! He's a real fucking friend who listens to me and loves me no matter what! Not like you money suckers! Now leave me alone and woe betide you if you hurt him or his family, you will pay! Cent by cent! I'll go to my room, knock and I'll kill you" I say threatening and tired of their empty words, feeling the tears prickling.
I hurry to my room and lock the door, then lie down on the bed, stifling my tears in my pillow.
