Golden eyes were filled with tears as she was pulled away from the body of the female parent. Her dad was already in a police vehicle, practically screaming as the younger girl was put into an ambulance.

"Eevee?"
"Lumi."
Blue eyes scanned the four pokemon as a small girl paused.
"Me?" An elder smiled.
"Yes, Child. Hopefully you'll be better than your dad." A grunt followed his words as she reached her hand out, the Eevee pressing her head against it.

A red blur raced through the forest before a small group of people were attacked. The blur slowed before a small boy huffed.
"Almost there-"

Thunder roared as a small boy hugged his sister close, watching the lightning strike the nearby people.
"Papa-"
"Shh..."
