Ran wiped the blood from his face as he stared down at the body before him. The way the man's face was caved in made him smile, he never could get over the feel of bones shattering under his baton. The way the resounding crunch echoed in his ears always made his heart race a little faster.

"Yo, Ran we gotta go. Mikey will kill us if we are late for this dinner party gala thingy." Rindou yelled from the doorway.

"Yeah, yeah come on let's go get cleaned up. Gotta look my best for the ladies!" Ran crowed as he walked towards his little brother. The younger Haitani rolled his eyes as he followed after him. Tonight was going to be a long night for Rindou.

At the Party:

(Y/n) stood in the mingling crowd of high end people. From famous models, actors, actresses, and politicians and anyone who held money or power in Japan. She didn't want to be here, she didn't want to be surrounded by all of these egotistical assholes who thought no one else mattered but themselves. She sipped on her glass of champagne and scrunched her nose at the taste, gods she could go for a shot right now.

"(n/n) smile, you look like you want to murder someone." Her older brother South teased, his accent was especially heavy due to the amount of alcohol he had already had since getting here not even ten minutes ago.

"Yeah, it's gonna be you if we don't go soon!" she hissed through her teeth. The 6 '11 ft giant smiled and kissed his little sister on the forehead, "Easy there borboletinha, I have a meeting here soon with the hosts of the gala, then after I promise we will go home." (Y/n) rolled her eyes and walked towards the bar, the champagne was doing nothing for her, and if she had to listen to anyone else speak about how great they were she was going to deck someone. She weaved her way to the open bar and slithered into an open spot away from all the old fat men with their gold digging trophy wives laughing obnoxiously at some stupid joke that probably wasn't even funny to begin with. As the bartender hands her her shot of Vodka, a slender and slightly tinted pink hand takes the shot from her fingers.

"Hey! That was mine!" (y/n) whines as she turns to face the thief. Her mouth goes dry when she sees the man she has been avoiding for months now. His lilac eyes brighten as he slams the shot glass on the marble bar counter. (Y/n) turns her face away quickly, hoping the thief hasn't recognized her, but luck is sadly on Ran's side this night.

"Well, well, well looked like little Miss. Mini-Dress can actually clean up and look like a proper lady of society! Where have you been hiding from me dollface?" Ran's charming voice floats through the air as he quickly traps (y/n) in between his body and the bar counter, cutting off any chance for her to escape. She can't help the groan and how a lump builds in her throat as she listens to his smooth and seductive voice. Turning to look up at him, her (e/c) orbs burn with an intensity that reminds Ran of the hot summer sun.

"Don't you know when a lady leaves you without giving you her name it means she wants to be left alone?" (y/n) says with a thin lipped smile. Her tone is sharp and her words cut like a freshly sharpened blade, oh how Ran loves the threats she gives him.

"You wound me!" Ran says dramatically as he places a hand over his heart. "But I'll be willing to forgive you, if you do two things for me." his crooked smile plays on his lips as he lets a hand slide down the length of (Y/n)'s side before resting on her curvaceous hip.

"That would be what?" she spits, no longer trying to be civil. She is tired of all these men who think they own the world, touching her and looking at her like a piece of meat.

"1. Your name. And 2. You have to dance with me." His tone is light but there is an undercurrent of a warning there. Ran looks down at her, his hand slowly grips her closer to him as he leans forward, letting his lips brush against the shell of her ear. "Because I haven't been able to get you out of my mind."
