She looked like an angel as she danced in the swarm of bodies. The way her thick hips swayed back and forth to the heavy bass hypnotized his violet gaze. Her long raven hair was put into two space buns on top of her head, while the rest flowed down in loose curls, framing her round face. Her alabaster skin reflected in the dancing neon laser lights that swirled around the dance floor. He couldn't believe a creature as stunning as her could even mingle in a crowd filled with such common worthless people.

"You just going to stare at her all night? You normally make a move by now brother." The younger Haitani questioned not looking up from his phone.

Ran finishes the last gulp of whisky in his glass and sighs, "Off I go to catch another mouse."

Rindou shakes his head at his older brother's announcement. Sometimes he wished someone would challenge the elder and reject him. It would make him more bearable with his ego cut down a peg or two.

As Ran snakes his way through the crowd, the girl is still lost in her own world, listening to the music. Her long lashes kiss her cheeks and her plump lips are in a smooth line, with the corners perked up just a touch. She has been trying her damndest to forget her past month. With her crazy ex boyfriend, and her even crazier sister dragging her through hell and high water, she just wants a night to forget and be herself. A heavy sigh leaves her ruby red lips as she feels her sixth vodka shot hit her finally. Her head swims in bliss as the music flows through her limbs. As her hips sway she feels another presence behind her, the feeling of someone wrapping their large and warm hands around her waist peaks her attention. The man, she gathers from the way his rough calloused hands gently squeeze her hips, leans into her, his tall lanky body pressed firmly to her back. She doesn't object to his presence, nor does she welcome it, she simply lets him exist in her space.

Ran watches as the girl in front of him seems to ignore his simple attempts to get her attention. His fingers desperately wish to feel the smooth skin that lays beneath black mini dress that hugs her curves. Bending down he lets his warm breath tickle along her neck, till his lips hover next to her ear, his lips gently grazing the bar piercing in her upper cartilage,

"You move beautifully darling." His voice is full of admiration, and his tongue spills the words like they have a thousand times before. He watches her face, waiting for the blush to cross her cheeks as it has with so many other women before her. But she simply does not acknowledge his words. Her body remains in its silent sway, her mind somewhere else. Ran can't help but feel a slight twinge of annoyance at her lack of response. Shaking himself of the irrational, he blames it on the music. Leaning in closer his tone is a little more firm, but still coated in that sugary sweet tone he uses to collect his honey. "Can I get you another drink? Maybe we could go somewhere a bit quieter to get to know each other darling." His words slip into her ear like a melody she would hear at a play, smooth and rehearsed.

She can't help but scoff aloud. Feeling herself being pulled from the peace she was finally reaching, her irritation takes over. For one goddamned night she wanted to be left alone. She wanted to forget the world and forget about the fact that men exist. But here comes this man, who she can tell has a high opinion of himself trying to woo her when there are clearly many other desperate women ready to fawn over him. Turning around to face the stranger who has ruined her mood, her cerulean eyes meet lazy downturned violet ones. His smirk plays on his lips and he can't help but admire her frustrated face. "No thanks, I'm headed home now." she says in short and curt words. Her anger is boiling by this point as she can't help but almost stomp off the dance floor like an angered child. Gods! Why can't men think with their brain and not their cock?! She thinks to herself as her hand goes to push the door handle to the exit open. Just as the beginnings of the cool night air wisps against her skin, she feels the familiar calloused hands grasp her arm, halting her.

"Easy there sweetheart, I was just trying to be nice. How can I make it up to you?" Ran's tone is smooth and his smirk still dances on the edge of his lips, as he tries his hardest to look sympathetic. Rolling her eyes she looked him up and down. She has to admit he is one of the most handsome men she has ever seen, but her eyes catch on the rectangular tattoo in the center of his neck. Her mouth runs dry and she can't help but feel the fear shoot through her body at the realization of who stands before her.

"Look, I would love to stay and chat but my older brother is expecting me home. I have to go. Thank you for the offer." She says with a hurried breath. She bows lowly then dashes through the door before Ran can get another word out. He must admit this raven haired mouse has caught his attention, more than any other woman has in a long time. Spinning on his heels, he saunters his way back to the VIP booth to join his brother and colleagues who sit on the red velvet couches swarmed by women basically throwing themselves at the Bonten executives. Taking a seat next to his younger brother he sighs,

"Well Rin, I think I may be in love." He places his hand over his chest and leans his head back. Rindou can't help but roll his eyes at his older brother's dramatic ways.

"Sure for how long this time? A week?" Rindou's tone is filled with sarcasm as he is thoroughly done with his brother's endless parade of women.

"Nah RinRin, I think she may be the one. You should have seen the way she moved, let alone the sound of her voice. This one," he pauses, thinking of his next words carefully, "this one has a spirit I need to see in all its glory." With a smile as wide as the banks of the Nile, Ran Haitani leans back against the couch letting his head lean all the way back as he stares up at the ceiling, his mind clouded with nothing but her face. He must have her, at any means necessary.
