Class Leader

We had a small break before we had to go back to class. Annick and I were setting on the bench,I was smoking a cigarette and thinking my interaction with Descamps. Until the pretty blonde girl finally spoke.

"It's truly a shame that Ms.Giraud hates girls,I was thinking of being class leader you know but there's no chance that she'll pick me so I gave Pichón the date of the battle" Annick sighed and looked up to the cloudy sky

"What class leader"? I said actually having no idea what she was talking about
"Anne in class Giraud revealed that every year she choices a student to be class leader.You don't remember"?
"I guess I don't,I try to block off every idiotic comment she makes in class." Half of that was true I do try to ignore Ms.Giraud every chance I got but I was probably distracted by the one eyed boy. She doesn't respond back to me she just nods with a big smile. Then her face changes all of the sudden.

"Why is Applebaum starring at us so heavily"she raises and eyebrow. I look at the boy who is setting next to Feblic a couple feet away from us. Applebaum eyes were squinting hard and on his left is a stressed out Feblec turning the pages aggressively.
"I'll be back" I didn't even look back at Annick I walked straight to the boys.

"Is everything okay,you seem....a bit off" I talked to the skinny blonde boy
"Don't mind him he lost his glasses during gym class" said Lamaziere out of nowhere
"Have you seen them?" Asked Applebaum
"No im sorry,where's Pichón?" I asked Applebaum
"He's over there talking to Descamps,why I don't know and don't ask" Feblec said cutting into our conversation.
"I'm assuming you haven't found the date yet" I said while rolling my eyes at his last comment
"I bet you have it,and if you don't then Annick has it"
"Yes and no, I don't know it but Annick does"I said while shrugging my shoulders at him. I had a bit left of my cigarette so I took it and shoved it into Feblic lips. His eyes widened and I patted his head and caress his right cheek and said
"Don't stress out to much you're to adorable to be mean" his cheeks got bright red and the cigarette that was ones in between his lips fell on the ground from how shocked he was.

I walked away without saying a word to the boy and all I heard was Lamaziere saying
"You lucky baster"
I looked back at the boys for a split second but what cut my attention was a boy arguing I looked forward and I didn't notice a body in front of me and I bumped into them.
"Just give me the glasses back" was heard before I bumped into the mysterious boy.
I stumbled back
"Sorry I should've payed more attention"
"Ya you should've"

My jaw locked and all of the sudden I was frozen
My eyes met Descamps light brown eyes and I felt the world stop,all the people that were once walking in a normal pace are now walking in slow motion. Before a large cloud of smoke below between us I could see his deep glare that was piercing through me. The burning sensation coming from my eyes knocked me back to reality from the big cloud of smoke that Dupin blew my way.
"Do you need something" asked Dupin with a raised eyebrow
"So you're the one that took Applebaum's glasses" I said while ignoring Dupin question
"And that's your business how American?" Descamps raises his eyebrows
"Come on Descamps leave her out of this" Pichón looked startled. Then Descamps looks back at Pichons direction
"Do we have a problem fatty,or are you to of a pussy to fight your own battles" Descamps laughed and pushes Pichón out of the way and walks away with his two dumb friends.

I looked at Pichón he looked so crushed and defeated then looked behind me at Applebaum struggling to see. Something boiled inside of me,my friends are suffering on the hands of Joseph fucking Descamps.

"HEY DESCAMPS" I yelled at him,I was surprised when he actually looked back at me.
"Give me the glasses"
"Pfft are you actually being serious,what are you trying to do? Get male validation I wouldn't expect that from you Blanchet" he smirked
"Stop messing with them ,it's not like you need those glasses anyways right pirate" I gave him the same smirk he had given me
His smile falls in a instant and I knew I had hit a soft spot
"Oh ya is that a threat Blanchet?"
I just gave him a blank stare
"What's in it for me" he looks at me up and down while licking his soft lips
I thought about for a second,I knew for sure whatever he was thinking of was out the window without a doubt. Then a light bulb turned on
