the locker door slammed shut as a sigh left the boy's mouth. it was a pained sigh, but there was no injury. brown eyes followed the sound of the sigh, looking to a best friend with a mix of sympathy and frustration. being the brains of the operation was not for the weak.

"so, what are you going to do?" the buzzcutted boy asked, his eyes remaining on where his best friend had pushed his head against the full length locker. the caramel boy's eyes finally opened, glancing towards his friend, and closing his eyes once more.

"i have to go to derek." he said.

"w-what? scott. no. are you remembering that we got him thrown in a cell after accusing him of murdering his sister?" the mole speckled boy was almost certain that his friend must have been dropped on his head as a child.

"do you know any other werewolves that can help me control the urge to maim and kill you when the moon decides to shine a little too bright?" the two boys sighed once more, the buzzcutted boy running a hand across the back of his neck, the feeling of sympathy waining into that of nervousness. he jumped when his companion let his head fall back against the locker, creating a loud bang in the echo of the locker room.

"do you think derek would even want to help you? i mean, yes, he is a werewolf, but he could also be the werewolf. the one that turned you into a walking time bomb." the speckled boy was at his wit's end with the whole lycanthropy thing, and suddenly having a best friend who was a werewolf didn't seem so cool anymore.

"if he is the alpha that turned me, he'll need to train me to be in his pack." the caramel boy said quietly.

"that's it!" the raven haired boy's eyes widened, looking to his best friend with a grin across his lips. "you need to be in his pack! or at least, pretend you want to be in his pack. that way he'll have to train you to control yourself on a full moon, and then you can just murder him. preferably in a brutal way."

"you want me to murder him?"

"yes. what's so bad about that?" the caramel boy let out a deep sigh, his mind falling back to when he first met his friend, as the metallic taste of regret appeared in his mouth. "uh... i'm not a murderer? and wouldn't i just be doing the exact thing i accused him of doing?"

"if you're worried about hiding the body, i could do that part. i mean, how hard could it be? put him in the backseat of the je-"

"stiles. shut up."

scott focused his hearing, his feet taking him towards the lacrosse team's store closet in the corner of the locker room, the faint sound of a heartbeat pulsing behind the closed door, and the shallow breaths that wavered every so often.

the mole speckled boy followed closely behind his best friend, ensuring he stayed behind him at all times. the caramel boy's hand reached forward, gripping the door knob and twisting slightly. the two boys were silent as they pulled the door open, the sound of three screams leaving the lips of teenagers echoed around the room. behind the door of the store closet, sat a small brunette, half a turkey sandwich stuffed in her mouth as she shielded herself from the two boys in front of her.

"dude! what the hell are you doing?" the raven haired boy placed a hand on his chest to steady his breathing as he peered down at the brunette girl.

she simply held the half eaten sandwich in front of the two boys, a small grin across her face. "eating my lunch."

"and you're eating it in here because..."

"because i have no friends." the girl gave a simple shrug, continuing on eating as though nothing had happened. "so, uh..."

"delilah."

"delilah. that's a nice name." the girl smiled gratefully, holding out a strawberry to the caramel boy in front of her, who took it with a grin on his face. the raven haired boy rolled his eyes, stepping forward from behind his best friend. "how long have you been in here?" the girl pondered for a moment, before setting a smile on her lips. "ohhhh. you wanna know if i heard you guys talking about being a werewolf. i wasn't really paying attention because i was playing snake, and then i heard you guys talking about derek hale, and that kind of got my attention, so i started listening and then you said that you're a werewolf and i guess that's kinda cool."

the two boys stared at the girl with bewilderment in their eyes, as she continued quietly eating, looking up at the boys as she did so. "w- are you gonna tell anyone?" she brunette let out a laugh, a truly knee slapping joke from the raven haired boy.

"i just told you i have no friends. no, stiles, i'm not going tell anyone."

"well... do you want to be our friend?"

do you want to be our friend?"
