Nothing interesting happened the whole day. I spent some time with my lil brother. We were playing in the pool and then watched some animations together. I love him even tho he's being an annoying little monster sometimes. As we were watching TV together,my mother entered the room.

"How's my little ones doing?" she said and sit on the edge on the bed that me and my brother were laying on.

"Just watching some cartoons" I giggled

My brother didn't say anything. He was too concentrated in the Paw Patrol episode.

"Aww how cute" she said "I was thinking....that maybe today we can go to that beautiful place near the lake and have picnic together? All of us. What do y'all think?"

Honestly I didn't wanna do anything today,but when I thought about it....picnic sounds like a great idea...and near the lake too...it will clean my mind

"Sounds good" I said

"Really?" my mom said surprised

"Yeah why not. When are we going?"

"After a few hours...it's still so hot outside and I don't want any of us to faint there" she laughed

We arrived to the place after a 20 minute drive. It was very beautiful. It looked like some famous and expensive painting. There were other people too. Lovely couples making out on the grass,children with their mothers,old people. Even though I hate being around that many people,they didn't interrupt me in any way.

We liked a spot and put our picnic blanket. My mother brought sandwiches and fruits. I wasn't that hungry so I only ate a few slices of watermelon and immediately laid down after that. I put on my sunglasses and closed my eyes. After laying like that for a while I felt the need to smoke a cig so i got up and took a walk to the lake.

As I was walking my way to the lake, I saw a familiar face...it was Elizabeth. She was sitting on a blanket with some random dude. Who the fuck was he? She noticed me and saw that I was looking,but I couldn't care less. I got so mad and just continued taking my walk to the lake. When I got where I wanted to, I aggressively sat on the grass at the edge of the lake and lighted my cigarette. My mind was full of thoughts...wasn't she single? Or she's on a date with someone right now? I got so mad I started ripping the grass of the ground.

"Hey there" i heard her say behind me

I flinched "HEYY YOU SCARED ME"

"I'm sorry baby.." she said and sat next to me

"Oh don't baby me now...what do you even want? Go back to your date" I said , still not looking at her

"What the fuck are you talking about?" She said with a serious tone , I almost got scared

"Oh you know what I'm talking about. I saw you and that boy sitting there with my own eyes. Are you calling me crazy now?" I said harshly "first you made me feel special and now you go out with someone else" i looked at her with my teary eyes and she giggled loudly "why you laughing at me now?" I asked sadly

"Honey,that's my brother Charlie" she said and started laughing more

I felt so dumb at that moment....I'm so dumb

"Oh...so....so he's not....okay..." I'm pretty sure that she could see the embarrassed look I had on my face

"Awhhh sugar,don't be embarrassed now...come here" she said and patted her lap

I sat on her lap and wrapped my arms around her,tightly. She did too

"I'm sorry" I said,burying my face in her neck

"About what? You didn't do anything wrong, baby" she said and started caressing my hair as a way of comforting

"No...I'm sorry about the misunderstanding and the way I talked to you..."

"It's okay...you don't need to worry about that,you know? It's literally nothing and we're fine, right?"

"You're right...you smell amazing by the way" I said with my face still buried in her neck...and she really did smell amazing...

"You love my scent,hm? You're adorable"

"Oh stop ittt" I smiled

"Stop what?"

"Stop complimenting me...." I said nervously

"And why would I do that?" She said lovingly,then held my face to make me look at her

"Because-"

I was cut out by hearing my lil brother yelling my name from afar. Maybe I stayed there for too long and my mom made him find me.

"I think I should go..." I said sadly,forcing a little smile on my face

"I'll se you around,honey....yeah?" she stroked my arm

"Of course....we're neighbours after all" I said and got off her lap

I begin walking away when I herd Elizabeth's voice again

"Polly wait!"she shouted

I turned to her again "What happened?"

"You forgot your cigarettes" she takes them from the grass and walks to me "Here" she said putting them in my back pocket

"Thanks Lana..." I said hugging her again and I wish I didn't rush the hug like I did but I just had to

After that me and the fam got home but I didn't saw Lana again that night...
