(Main Characters)

Arsenio Alonso:

Arsenio is reserved and mostly mild mannered. He does not make an effort to be noticed and is sort of an outcast. He has a strained relationship with his family.

Makenzie Cano:

A close friend of Arsenio. Makenzie has an infectiously positive attitude and a head strong mindset when it comes to her personal struggles. She is a bit more outspoken than Arsenio and isn't afraid to share what's on her mind.

Jonathan Munoz:

Outgoing and athletic, Jonathan doesn't seem like the type to befriend Arsenio but they remain friends. Jonathan uses sports as a way to cope with his troubled home life.

Kaylani Wenston:

The girlfriend of Jonathan. Kaylani has a catty attitude to everyone who isn't Jonathan. She is the jealous type and dislikes Makenzie being around Jonathan.

Priscilla Gomez:

A history teacher at New Sol High School. Priscilla is close with Arsenio, Makenzie and Jonathan, almost seeing them as her own kids.

Ruben Tellez:

The next door neighbor of the Alonso's. Ruben is friends Benicio and hangs out with him often mostly to discuss their shared hobby of motorcycle repair.

Zuri Tellez:

The wife of Ruben and another family friend of the Alonso's. She is loving but can have a fiery personality.

Benicio Alonso:

The patriarch of the Alonso family. Although he cares about his kids, Benicio often finds himself dismissive of his children. He has an unhealthy drinking habit that inhibits his relationship with his family.

Carmen Alonso:

The matriarch of the Alonso family. Carmen adores her children but is willingly ignorant to her own faults and brushes off serious issues just to avoid conflict.

(Supporting Characters)

Jose Castellanos:

A police detective with the New Sol Police Department. Jose lived a rough childhood. He grew up seeing the ugly side of humanity and how low people can go. He is now determined to bring law and order.

Manuel Mendoza:

The mayor of New Sol. The only thing bigger than his waistband is his ego. Manuel believes he is the best thing that's ever happened to New Sol and thinks he can do no wrong.

Jamie Brooks:

New Sol High School's football coach. He is friendly with Jonathan and is a mentor to him. Although Jamie's expectations can be a little high.

Esperanza Diaz:

Esperanza works at a baked goods shop and is affiliated with the Alonso's. She is particularly fond of Arsenio, giving him goodies when she can.

Roberto Cano:

The father of Makenzie. Roberto cares about his daughter to a fault. He is over protective and overbearing at times.

Gloria Munoz:

The mother of Jonathan. Gloria is completely dismissive to her son's feelings and tends to mostly ignore him.

(Minor Characters)

Aaron Ponner:

A bully of Arsenio.

Alice Esteves:

A bully of Arsenio and general mean girl.

Father Diego:

A pastor at the local catholic church.

Principal Moreno:

The principal of New Sol High School. She is disliked by most of the students (and even some of the faculty) for her very strict attitude.

Marcus:

A friend of Jonathan.

Lorenzo Cortez:

A rival of Manuel Mendoza. Lorenzo is running against him for mayor of New Sol.

Lola Alonso:

The sister of Arsenio and daughter of Benicio & Carmen Alonso. She isn't very close with the family since moving out and Arsenio holds resentment towards her because of that.

Izabella:

A friend of Makenzie.

Amaya Mendoza:

The wife of Manuel Mendoza. She is just as insufferable as her husband, if not worse.

Mr & Mrs Wenston:

The parents of Kaylani. They don't care about her as much as they should.

Sheriff Edward:

The police chief of the New Sol Police Department. He admires Jose's work as a detective.
