Peter, Steve, Natasha and Rumlow's STRIKE is onboard a quinjet flying over the Indian Ocean towards their destination, the Lemurian Star.
Everybody was listening to Rumlow's debriefing on the quinjet.
"Target is a mobile satellite launch platform, the Lemurian Star." Rumlow said as he tapped a screen what showed the Lemurian Star "They were sending up their last payload when pirates took them, 93 minutes ago."
"Any demands?" Steve asked
"A billion and a half." Rumlow answered
"Why so steep?" Steve questioned Rumlow opened his mouth to speak, but got beaten to it
"Because it's SHIELD's." Peter answered, which made everyone look at him, both Natasha and Rumlow looked at him with a raised eyebrow
"I like boats." Peter said to everyone, but mainly to Rumlow and Natasha.
"But, like Parker said because its SHIELD's." Rumlow said to Steve, while giving Peter a weird look as he was wondering how he knew that.
"So it's not off-course, it's trespassing." Steve whispered to Natasha and Peter
"I'm sure they have a good reason." Natasha whispered back
"You know, I'm getting a little tired of being Fury's janitor." Steve said to her
"I agree." Peter chimed in
"Relax it's not that complicated." Natasha said
Steve then turned towards Rumlow "How many Pirates?"
"25, top mercs led by this guy." Rumlow said as he pulled up an image of a male "George Batroc. Ex- DGSE, Action Division. He's at the top of the Interpool's Red Notice."
"Before the French demobilised him, he had 36 kill missions. This guy's got a rep for maximum causalities." Rumlow added
"Hostages?" Steve asked
"Oh, mostly techs, one officer. Jasper Sitwell. They're in the gallery." Rumlow told them
"What's Sitwell doing on a launch ship?" Peter asked, but he never got an answer due to Steve speaking up
"Alright Peter and I are gonna sweep the deck and find Batroc. Nat you kill the engines and wait for instructions. Rumlow, you sweep aft, find the hostages, get them to the life pods, get them out. Let's move."
"STRIKE, you heard the, Cap. Gear up." Rumlow commanded his team
STRIKE went over to start preparing their gear, while Peter went over to a familiar looking person who was prepping his gear.
"Jeff?" Peter asked, which made the man turned around to reveal ex Officer Jefferson Davis.
"Oh Spidey, good to see you man, I almost didn't recognise you because of you being unmasked now." Jefferson said with a chuckle still prepping his gun at the same time.
"Yeah, I kinda had to because of me joining the Avengers, but I didn't recognise you, dude! What are you doing working for SHIELD? Did the police not pay you enough?" Peter said as he finished putting web cartridges into his belt and into his web shooters,
"Nah nah, man, they paid well, but then SHIELD seen my work and then offered me a job and now I'm working for STRIKE." Jefferson answered
"So now you're living in DC?" Peter asked
"Yeah, but my wife and my 14 year old son are back in New York City still." Jefferson says "You know, my son, Miles he is a big fan of you."
"Is he?" Peter asks being unconvinced to which Jefferson nodded
