Chapter 43- The Hunt For The Sceptre Begins

After the phone call Peter jumped into the air and webbed himself to a building and started heading to the Tower that he could see in the distanced.

After 10 minutes Peter had made it to the lab in Avengers Tower, and as he walked in he seen Bruce were theorising equations and doing maths sums while Tony was getting the materials that was needed.

"Hey, guys! I'm sorry, I'm a bit late, hope you both haven't started without me." Peter said as he approached the board that Bruce was working on

"Hey, Pete." Bruce said slowly as he was trying to workout the equations

"Pete, you better not disturb the computer." Tony jested as he walked over to the both of them

Tony then slowly walked up behind Bruce "He's computing, he's computing!"

"Hey, didn't you not just told me to not disturb him?"Peter asked with a chuckle

And before Tony had a chance to reply there was a frustrated yell from Bruce.

"DAMN IT!" Bruce yelled as it echoed through the lab

Bruce threw the pen he was working with at the wall which shattered immediately on impact.

Peter looked at Tony and Tony gave a mug of cocoa to Peter and quickly hid behind Peter which made Peter roll his eyes.

"Brucie bear, drink some of this hot cocoa." Peter said as he gave Bruce the mug and Bruce started to calm down before he released the Hulk

"How about I take a go at this?" Peter said as he walked Bruce over to Tony who had one of his Iron-Man gloves on

Peter walked over to the board and he scanned it and started writing out equations on the board.

"It's not possible, Pete." Bruce said quietly but Peter heard him to which he chose to ignore Bruce

Peter then suddenly wrote a number and circled it and he put lines underneath it to highlight it even more and said the number.  "Eleven."

"What?" Bruce asked confusedly

"We need eleven arc reactors to power the suit." Peter said as he turned around

"that was nearly impossible to figure out!" Bruce exclaimed

"Well actually it wasn't, you were trying to figure out ways to get the entire suit to powered on with one power source, when you needed a different power source and many of them." Peter explained

"That's a lot of reactors." Tony said to no one in particular

"How did you do that?" Bruce asked shocked

"I used to write those kind of equations in my classes in school while the other people in the class were doing the basic maths." Peter explained

"Well let's get to work." Tony said to them as he rubbed his hands together

"Tony, you and I will get working on the armour while Peter, you will work on the arc reactors." Bruce told them

"Jesus, you're like Steve." Tony jokingly said

"Sorry." Bruce said nervously

"Karen play Led Zeppelin." Peter said with a smirk

Tony and Bruce looked over and seen his smirk and as they seen him Karen started playing AC/DC

"Oh, you are so dead." Tony said to Peter who was smirking which made Tony stare at him with a glare

"You can kill him after we build the suit." Bruce told Tony
