Twenty-eight

I just got back from my competition and saw that I hit 200 followers! To celebrate I'm publishing this early! Enjoy~

"Here we see a man who is just barely above the average male height. As you can see he is listening to music as he reads. He is completely immersed in this story that would bore the hell out of anyone else," The alpha taps his fingers along to the beat of the music that's coming through his headphones. "As he reads he somehow can also feel the rhythm of the song playing. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Kim Seungmin in his natural habitat."

Seungmin removes his headphones and sets them down on the table beside him. He saves his place in his book and looks at Felix with a fake annoyed smile. "What are you doing?"

Felix blushes in embarrassment at getting caught. He was recording Seungmin on his phone as he did his weird narration out of boredom. "I was bored"

"So you decided to record me like I was a creature on Animal Planet because you were bored?" Felix fliches at his words. Why does it sound so much harsher when Seungmin says it out loud?

"Yes?" Seungmin rolls his eyes at the omega. There in no sound filling the room except for Felix's gasp as he realizes something. "Wait. You knew I was recording you?!"

Seungmin chuckles. "Yes love, you aren't that quiet. I bet that if I had my headphones on noise cancelling mode, I would still hear you." Felix glares at him and crosses his arms and pouts slightly.

"You're mean." Seungmin hooks his arm around Felix's waist and brings him down onto his lap. His lips brush his ear slightly. "And you love it."

The omega scoffs. "No, I don't. You never let me have my fun."

Seungmin's grip on his waist tightens ever so slightly, but it's enough to make Felix turn into mush and melt against his body. "Love, don't lie. Lying doesn't sound good coming from your soft and innocent-looking lips."

Felix shivers as heat builds on his face. Seungmin smirks and buries his face in Felix's neck and breathes in his sweet scent. Felix scowls internally when he feels the alpha's smirk against his neck. Seungmin always wins.

"I know I do, sweetie, but thank you!" Felix blinks in shock. "What?"

"You said I always win. I'm not sure why you fight with me when you already know this." Seungmin smiles playfully at the omega as Felix turns even redder at saying that out loud. Felix buries his face in his hands. "Why do you and Minho always bully meeeeee?"

"Because it's fun, and you love that we tease you." Felix doesn't say anything back. Because he knows that Seungmin is right. Who is he kidding? Seungmin is always right.

"Thanks, love, but again, I already know that," Felix runs away from Seungmin from embarrassment since he said his thoughts out loud, not once, but TWICE!

Seungmin laughs and follows Felix to their room. He finds the Australian sprawled out on the bed like a starfish. He lifts him up slightly and slides onto the bed under him. He let's go of Felix and let's the omega snuggle into him and breathe in his scent of paper and ink.

"How do you do it?" Felix asks. "How do I do what?"

"How can you stand being away from Minho for so long? It's torture," Seungmin frowns at the omega's question. He's never really thought about it. Yes, he does miss Minho whenever he is gone for a while to do his job, but he knows that he'll come back. Seungmin also knows he isn't an emotional person, but Felix is. It's probably a lot harder for Felix to be away from Minho than it is for Seungmin.

"Whenever I miss him I look at pictures I have of him on my phone and think about all of the great times we've had together," He pauses a moment to think. "I'm sure that Minho would love to talk to you. Maybe you can text him and ask him if he has time for a short video call. Does that sound good?"

Felix smiles and Seungmin smiles back as he takes the Aussie's expression as a yes. "Let's go see if he's free."
