Chapter 27: Coming back into the cold

Third Person's POV

Our heroes are continuing their journey through the Kalos Region, after witnessing a riveting battle between Grant and Viola at the Battle Chateau and finding out Grant is the Cyllage City Gym Leader, Ash and Eli know they have their work cut out for them.

Ash has Froakie and Fletchling out while Eli has Flabébé and Marill out "Alright, Froakie, Water Pulse!" Ash commands as Froakie jumps and creates a blue sphere of energy from in between its hands. It then fires the sphere at the Flabébé.

"Alright Flabébé dodge it and use Magical leaf!" Eli shouts as Flabébé swiftly dodges Froakie's Water Pulse and starts spinning and then releases multiple light green glowing leaves at the water Starter Pokémon.

Froakie uses double team and the Magical Leaf hit one of the moves which turn out that it hit one of the clones and Froakie lands "Wow Froakie, your double team timing was perfect" Ash complimented Froakie.

"Now is our turn, Marill use Bubble beam on Fletchling!" Eli shouts as Marill fires a barrage of blue bubbles at Fletchling 

The tiny robin Pokémon who simply dodges the Aqua Mouse's Pokémon's attack before it gets hit by one bubble; Fletchling falls but manage to land in time.

"Just like that!" Ash cheer.

"Pika!" Pikachu agrees.

"Froakie!" Froakie cries.

Fletchling hops towards Ash who looks back at the tiny robin Pokémon "you were great too, Fletchling" Ash tells the flying type Pokémon who cried happily.

Eli goes to his Pokémon "awesome job, both of you"

"Marill!/Bébé" his Pokémon cry happily at their trainer.

Suddenly they hear someone applauding as they see Alexa walking up to them "Those Pokémon are sure looking good" she states honestly.

"Alexa!" Ash states seeing the green eye brunette and the Helioptile.

Alexa smiles at the group "Good to see you it's been a while" she tells the group.

Gary nods "feels like it's been forever already since we last saw each other" he tells the young adult.

"You looked well" she complimented the group.

Ash nods "thanks" he thanked the woman.

Alexa then looked at Eli "Also, happy delayed Birthday Eli" Alexa tells Eli.

Eli smiled back "thanks Alexa" he thanked the female adult.

She then looks at Serena "so you decided to travel along with Ash I see" she then stated.

Serena nod "Yeah, and so much has happened since I made that choice" she replies.

Alexa chuckles a bit "I can imagine!" she says as her Helioptile goes up to Pikachu to greet it

Alexa then notices the twins standing between Eli "so this must be group MEW" she said.

Maddie and Whitley were surprised "You know about that?"

Alexa nod "Your Poké vision was blowing up and was trending all over the net" she tells the trio.

Serena looks at Maddie "that's amazing!" she cheered.

"Congrats you three" Bonnie congratulated the trio.

"Denene!" Dedenne agrees with its trainer.

MEW then smile at the youngest of the trio "thank you, Bonnie" they responded to the young blonde.
