Chapter 37.5: catching Mareep

-author's note: this occurs during Sam and Xavier's battle I mean who's down for a Bonnie focus chapter and is the shortest chapter I'd wrote, lol so consider it a side chapter also thank you for the 60k reads-

Third Person's POV

Bonnie's currently looking for the prettiest flowers for her next arrangement which it wasn't hard for her because she was confident to find the ideal flowers for her.

"Ma!" Bonnie looks over and sees Mareep looking at yellow daisies.

"Oh, wow those are daisies" Bonnie stated to herself crouching down whit Dedenne sitting on her right shoulder.

"Na-Na!" Dedenne cry while pointing at white roses.

Bonnie sees the roses "yeah, this arrangement will be pretty" she said agreeing with her Pokémon friends before picking the daisies and a few white Roses.

Then suddenly a loud buzz was heard and a Beedrill appeared before them, and it seems that it wants to fight and charges at Bonnie.

"Get down!" Bonnie said jumping out of the way while holding Mareep close "are you okay?" Bonnie asked the Wool Pokémon who nodded at the girl; Bonnie stands up "Dedenne let's show it not to mess with us" she said.

"Na!" Dedenne agrees.

"Use tackle!" Bonnie commands as Dedenne jumps at Beedrill who dodge with ease and goes for a fury attack "Nuzzle!" Bonnie tells Dedenne as Beedrill gets shocked by Dedenne's Nuzzle attack.

Mareep looks at the scene with awe and looks determined and goes to help Dedenne and Bonnie Mareep begins to build up electricity

Bonnie remembers the Entry "Dedenne use Thunder Shock on Mareep!" Bonnie tells the Antenna Pokémon who nodded and fires out a electric type attack at the other Electric type; Bonnie's eyes widen with shock when she learns Mareep's moves "Okay, Dedenne get on top of Mareep!" she instructs her Pokémon who did as commanded "Now Dedenne use Thunder Shock and Mareep, Shock Wave!" she commands them as both Pokémon launches their respective attacks at Beedrill who got shocked and then flew away after it fall to the ground.

"Dene!" Dedenne cried in cheer.

"Ma!" Mareep also cheered.

"That's awesome you two!" Bonnie praised the two electric types.

"Ma!" Mareep moves away and turns to Bonnie and smiles "Ma!" it cries again as Dedenne climbs up to Bonnie's shoulder

Bonnie looks at Mareep confused before realizing "you want me to capture you!?" she questioned out of shock.

Mareep nods seeing this Bonnie's eyes lights up and pulls a Pokéball out of her bag.

"Okay Mareep, get ready! go Pokéball!" Bonnie tosses her Pokéball to the Wool Pokémon.

Pokéball hit Mareep's head lightly before getting sucked in the Pokéball by a red light it wiggles three time then it clicked.

Bonnie smiled brightly and picks the Pokéball and giggles "I finally did it, my first catch; and is a Mareep!" She cheered.

"Dene!" Dedenne cheered with Bonnie

"Bonnie!" she hears a familiar voice, and she sees Eli walking towards her "I saw you becoming Mareep's official trainer, congratulations" he congratulates the young female.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cried agreeing with its trainer.

Bonnie smiles "thanks, Clemont will be so happy for me"

"Trust me he already is" he said before walking away "it's getting late we should head back and meet up with the others back"

"right" Bonnie agrees as she runs off to catch up with the Cerulean boy.
