"Well I-.." Mashiho started but Yedam understands the feeling of being asked questions like this.
"It's alright Shiho. Almost no one has an exact answer for questions like those. I can wait." Yedam replied and smiled calmly.
"Shiho..." Mashiho whispered. Shiho, Shiho, Shiho. That nickname.. it wasn't just a faint memory anymore. He didn't have to try and rely on his thoughts to remind himself of what that word sounded like especially coming from Yedam's voice.
"Sorry.. is calling you Shiho uncomfortable now-?" Yedam immediately asked after speaking.
"No-! I mean, there's no reason for you not to. You were the only person I allowed to call me that." Mashiho said calmly, trying not to let Yedam notice the slight blush on his cheeks.
"D-do you still talk to any of the Treasure members.?" Yedam asked.
"Well.. you know how strict their managers can be, but sometimes I do talk to Jihoon hyung and Hyunsuk hyung. I usually call them when I'm on the verge of a panic attack, or they call me to just talk about how their doing."
Yedam nodded but then had another question.
"Was the reason you left because of the panic attacks?" Yedam asked, he didn't want to keep bugging Mashiho with these questions but he was very curious, hoping not to make Mashiho feel on the edge.
"That was apart of the reason but you can figure out the other part later." Mashiho said as he got off his counter and went to his room.
"What are you doing?" Yedam asked as he seen Mashiho go into his closet and grab a blanket and pillow.
"Here." Mashiho didn't answer his question and just closed the closet door. Yedam was confused to say the least, but he took it and sat them on Mashiho's bed.
"No.. these are for you." Mashiho stated before continuing. "You are not sleeping in a lounge, now go sleep on the couch, it getting late. Maybe in a few days I can get you a mattress or something."
Mashiho was very considerate, he had never let any of his coworkers sleep in the lounge before and today wouldn't be any different.
"Thank you Mashiho but this is too much. I can try and find another place or literally anything to help pay you back." Yedam insisted but Mashiho wouldn't budge.
"Once a family, always a family. I know I may have seemed a little off earlier but I just couldn't fully comprehend the fact that I'm standing in front of someone I used to know more than I knew myself." Mashiho spoke calmly before sitting on his bed, giving Yedam hints that he was about to sleep.
Yedam bowed extra low again, hoping not to be a burden to Mashiho.
It was 23:00 and Yedam still couldn't sleep, he wasn't uncomfortable, actually, Mashiho's couch was extra comfy and if Yedam wasn't struggling to sleep, he could've been knocked out 2 hours ago.
Yedam went on his phone, looking for something to do so he could tire himself out and get some sleep.
"Yedammah..." Mashiho tiredly said turning on the kitchen light, lighting up the living room a little bit as well.
"Yes Shiho..?" Yedam replied looking back seeing Mashiho standing in the kitchen doorway, his hair messy and eyes heavy.
"Why are you awake.? Are you uncomfortable?" Mashiho asked, walking over to Yedam and sitting across from him.
"No no, I just can't seem to fall asleep. This happens a lot but it slowly started to go away. I'm kinda used to it now." Yedam answered and put his phone down.
"Oh well I just woke up to get water, I guess I'll go back to bed then. Goodnight Yedam.." Mashiho said and Yedam just hummed.
Yedam continued to try and sleep but he got no where with it and just gave up. He sat up and went to the bathroom and then into the kitchen to get water. Yedam's head had been pounding and he just hoped he could get rid of it, even if he had to stay awake the whole night.
"Oohhh I can't do this.." Yedam sighed harshly and held his head in his hands. Yedam got up in a hurry and left Mashiho's apartment to get some medication to help him sleep and get rid of his headache.
But not without leaving a note.
