𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧•Mashidam

"I think I like you more than before.."

Yedam woke up hours later, one hand under his head and one on Mashiho's waist, wrapping around onto his back. "Hm.." Yedam sighed as he started to get up from the deep and peaceful slumber but making sure not to wake the older.

Yedam slipped out of his room and down the stairs to their new kitchen and grabbed some frozen waffles, not having any other breakfast options at the moment but it worked for them.

He started to make the waffles in the toaster and picked out a bag of opened chocolate chips from the cabinet, sitting them down onto the table knowing that Mashiho likes chocolate chips on his. He couldn't find any syrup so they had to go without it but he knew casualties would happen after the first night of being in their new house.

Yedam heard footsteps from upstairs and knew that it was Mashiho, he put his waffles on a plate for him and grabbed the bag of chocolates and put them on the table, seeing Mashiho walk in.

"Thank you for last night Yedam, and thank you for making these." Mashiho said as he was still waking up.

"Of course Shiho! Eat up!." Yedam replied as he dug in himself.

As they ate their food they both kept giving each other glances and getting shy when they made eye contact while doing so. They finished their food and started to unpack the left over boxes from the previous day.

"This is the one for your room Yedam, do you want to unpack it? Or are you busy with the one for the living room?" Mashiho asked while looking at the younger boy and the boxes, seeing Yedam already opening the one for their living room.

"You can unpack mine if you want, I don't mind." Yedam smiled and seen Mashiho nod and take his box upstairs and start to unpack it.

"Okay where should this go..?" Mashiho asked himself and decided to place some important things on the shelf that the movers helped make.

Mashiho seen something he thought was important but couldn't fully tell. It was very vague with the cover of it. It was a book but with no distinctive writing on it. He opened it up to a random page and read the lines.

"Dear Shiho, I don't know why I haven't done this yet but I get nervous every time I'm around you but then I also get those moments where I am more bold than before. Our reactions have been alternating with each others from shy to flirty and I don't think I need any more time to wait for something I have wanted, especially this long, unless you don't like labels. I just really want you to be mine."

Mashiho was shocked, he knew they liked each other and wanted to take the next step but he was also nervous.

"Shiho.." Yedam said as he looked inside his room and seen Mashiho with the book in his lap.

"Yedammah-.." Mashiho started, but forgot to speak.

"You read it did you..?" Yedam asked, not sounding mad, just a little embarrassed and awkward.

Mashiho nodded and got up and began to talk.

"I was putting your important looking stuff on the shelf and I came across this and had no clue what it was so I opened it to see if anything shown signs of being important but it flipped to this page. Sorry Yedam." Mashiho said and looked at his feet while giving the book to Yedam.

"Mashiho."

"Yes Yedam?" Mashiho replied confused and guilty.

"I think I like you more than before." And that was all that was heard from Yedam until the older lifted his head up to see Yedam pull out another note from his pocket, which he was going to give to Mashiho later that day.

"What is that Yedam?" Mashiho asked still comprehending what Yedam said seconds before.

"It was a little note that I was gonna give you later today while doing something together and it was written just like that one but slightly different. I don't really know how to tell someone I like them because this has only happened once to me so I wrote it down."

Mashiho finally figured out what Yedam said.

"Wait- you said that you like me more than before..? Why? Didn't I invade your privacy and see something that I shouldn't have.?!" Mashiho asked confused and seen Yedam walk towards him and grab both of his hands into his own.

"Well when I seen you finish reading it, I didn't feel angry. I felt embarrassed because I forgot that was in there and that it's something no one could tell what it is unless you read it but you're calm reaction made me believe that you are someone I want even more than before, you didn't overreact or get mad at me for liking you although we know it's mutual, and you also tried apologizing for something that was totally mistaken. I do like you, especially more than before, and even now you're not even interrupting me or taking your hands away from mine."

"I- oh my.. I would have never thought that anyone would think about me like this.. especially you." Mashiho said and looked slightly away shyly.

"Mashiho.. will you finally be mine..?" Yedam asked while moving Mashiho's face to look at him, seeing the older blush all over.

Mashiho melted hearing his calm and loving voice. He smiled and started to tear up nodding his head and saying yes a few times quietly and hugging Yedam.

Yedam let his tears flow too, knowing that he finally got to be with his Shiho after waiting for 7 years.
