"Hm, so you are telling me that the employees working at Autre restaurant are all fakes?"
"Correct. That's literally what I said just now."
"Oh hahah...so I only guessed it was right that the doctors are the fake ones here...I didn't expect the employees of this restaurant where we met too for the first time were fakes..."
"Mhm, you can't trust everything these days, can you?"
"A bunch of fakers everywhere..."
"Indeed, mila--I mean, Keiko. So, now are you fully convinced to help me around exorcising these fakes? Hmm?"
"Exorcising is too big of a word, you know?"
"Yes but what if we let them go and show mercy on them and then they end up becoming a threat to society again."
"You're right." I said this with a tinch of reluctance, what's up with me all of a sudden? Why do I feel like such people deserve to be shown mercy upon them?
"So, what's Plan A?""Oh, you think we're going to have a Plan B as well?"
"Well we're never sure about whether the first method is ever going to work..."
"Hahah, trust me Keiko, it'll work."
"So you're sure that it's going to work out?"
"Mhm, indeed." With having that said, Denis pulled out one of the blades capable of exorcism, grabbed my hand in his other hand and dragged me forward towards the door to the restaurant. It seemed to have been closed today, I wonder why. "Don't breathe a single word out." I nodded in response. Denis kicked the door open and as soon as he did, the blade got hit by an accelerating bullet only to shatter into a thousand minute fragments and fall down onto the floor. "Hm?!" I could read it all on Denis' face that he didn't expect this attack. "No one's around though...ehh."
I still did not utter a single word.
"Keiko, stick close. Don't even think about moving away from me just stay where you are and stick to me from behind.""Alright, fine." Yeah, I was trying to move away from him and take cover somewhere else, guess I was a little dumb to have even thought about that, hm? I don't need this guy to be protecting me around...I can protect myself...
"Thou art acting foolish yet again."
"Psst, could you please shut the hell up?!" I whispered and made sure my voice was as feeble as possible but I guess Denis would've already heard that whisper considering how quiet the whole restaurant is and how empty it feels.
"I can hear thou through thy mind voice."
"Keiko, you said something?" Denis whispered.
"Uhm, no." He nodded in response and proceeded to take his aiming position.
Fine, can you please stop bothering me?
"I'm afraid that I'll have to instruct thou from here. I don't feel the presence of anyone for now...I don't sense any movement..."
You can't sense anything? What are you talking about, wolf? You are capable of sensing locomotion, aren't you?!
"I am capable of that. But as of now, I can't sense any movement, sorry not sorry to disappoint thou."
Did you just 'sorry not sorry' me?
"Grahah, indeed. Geheh, I don't really feel sorry about that one, brat."
Okay, leave it. Just tell me, what am I supposed to do now in this situation?
"Stick closer to that boy and stay facing in the opposite direction to him, grah. I will let thou know anything else later."
